Quint and Choir - the future-modified versions of Rock and Roll, for the 38th anniversary of Mega Man!... A week late, but better than never. It's also rather oddly funny to be revisiting these two on Tumblr since this is where the sprite comic I'd made starring them first got off the ground. (To clarify: Quint's from the game boy Rockman World games; Choir's an original concept)

Have you ever fucked up, and not noticed until several hours later? Well I can shamefully say that I have.

I uploaded comic #17 without noticing a flaw - the fact that the robot masters were frozen in their walk cycle when they should’ve been offstage. Whoops.

It’s been corrected on deviantart and the archive. The original comic 17 is now preserved at http://navy-joe.tumblr.com/reminder as a constant reminder to pay attention.

Quint’s Quest is no longer on Tumblr.

Good evening, I've got an announcement to make, This is gonna be text-heavy, so it's unfit for an announcement comic. The page I uploaded today, "Quint's Quest #32" is gonna be the last one I upload to Tumblr. I will no longer be posting updates, filler comics, or announcements on Tumblr after today. Quint's Quest will be on Deviantart only. I have a few reasons for doing this. My first, and probably the most important reason is that nobody freaking reads it on Tumblr. For the first ten comics I exclusively hosted on Tumblr, and like I was saying, nobody read it. To my knowledge. Deviantart at least has a view counter so you can see how many people saw it, even if it was accidentally or just skimming through it. My second reason is that I just personally don't like the way Tumblr works. This is more of a personal gripe than an objective one, but it still stands. It honestly just feels anarchic and poorly laid out in my opinion. My final reason concerns the comic archive - Originally a necessity due to Tumblr's questionably intelligent decision to reduce the quality of the comics when I post them, has turned into an absolute chore to update, and quite frankly, looked like amateurish 1997 crap from day one. Updating it easily took about two thirds of the time it took to update the comic, and I feel that it's not only a chore, but redundant since Deviantart pretty much takes care of everything. Anyway, this doesn't rule out the possibility of hosting on other websites in the future, however I've decided that Tumblr just isn't for me.      -Joe (TLDR: Quint's quest will no longer be hosted on Tumblr, It will be hosted on Deviantart only from now on)

"For whatever reason, Mega Man's as spritely when he's one hit from violently exploding as he is when at full health, and there's actually an explanation for it besides "video game." Mega Man's a robot, so he would probably not have any stamina, meaning he couldn't get exhausted, even if he suffers massive damage. It is possible that Mega Man in his "civilian form" for lack of a better word would have "simulated stamina" for the purposes of making him more human, but those get disabled while in "Combat form" as being able to get exhausted would be a handicap then."
