THE POINT: "So Hard" ('A New Hope' Version)
THE POINT is Michael O'Neill (MEN, Ladybug Transistor) and Sammy Tunis (The Lisps).
They, of course, are Friends Of THE GEORGE LUCAS TALK SHOW, having appeared in our very first episode as "Guilty Pleasure" (their side project where they perform "guilty pleasure" songs at parties, happenings and other fun events.)
This is a music video for one of the songs from their brand new Somes Sound EP, edited by "George Lucas" and containing most of the saddest scenes from Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope.
THE POINT will be performing their debut show this Friday (June 6th) at Union Pool in Brooklyn. Doors open at 9pm and you can BUY TICKETS HERE.
You can also buy/listen to the Somes Sound EP using these various digital internet links:

TCGS #107 - We Got Nothing 2
We got nothing. The only things we got are Quitzow who mesmerizes our audience in dancing a lot. We got Mal Blum. We got Chris and Messenger Bag at odds. We got J.D. being a jerk. We got interesting callers. But, other than that we got nothing... two.
Best end credits we've ever done.
This week: We've got nothing.
I’m so exhausted. Just so, so tired. I’m planning a wedding. I’m having a real hard time finding an apartment and it’s making me feel as if I’m failing as a provider and a man. And on top of all that, I am so exhausted from being beaten during last week’s episode. I’m still physically recovering. Not to mention emotionally and mentally recovering – I can’t believe Messenger Bag got up and walked away. I still don’t know how to handle it.
So this week, we revisit one of my favorite ideas we’ve ever done, entitled WE GOT NOTHING. That is to say, instead of mounting an elaborate premise or framework for our show, we’re going to show up, be relaxed, take calls, and find a show on our feet. The goal isn’t to just have a bunch of directionless calls – the goal is to let the fun present itself and follow it towards something coherent and notable. That being said, we aren’t going to plan it in the slightest. We’re going to see what happens organically. You’ll tell us what to talk about on the phones. You’ll guide the action. Always remember, TCGS is YOUR show.

We'll also be joined by musical guest QUITZOW!
If you caught last week's episode, you know Wednesday night is likely going to get real.

Here's a Link through to a ridiculous and frenetic old music video of mine which I still enjoy.
Ah the memories of getting stopped by a cop and being asked what you are doing in the middle of the night running around with a dude in a gas mask and gorilla suit...
