El mejor libro de Monoteísmo (Tawhid) es el libro de Allāh El Exaltado (es decir, el Corán).
This a picture of Muezza, the favorite of the Prophet Muhammad’s many cats. Artist unknown.
Although it is not included in the canonical Koran, there is a fable about the great love that Muhammad felt for Muezza. In the story, the Prophet woke to the sounds of the morning Adhan, the call for prayer. He got up to go to the mosque, but when he went to put on his prayer robe, he found that Muezza was curled up and sleeping on the robe’s sleeve. Not wanting to wake the cat, Muhammad used a blade to cut the sleeve from the robe and leave Muezza undisturbed. After returning from the mosque, Muezza presented Muhammad with a bow that was then used to mend the cut sleeve. Muhammad then pet Muezza, stroking the cat three times and this act bestowed onto cats seven lives (nine in some translations) as well as the ability to always land on their feet after a fall.
Although this fable is not included in the official books of the Koran, the Prophet’s love and appreciation for cats is included. It’s written that the Prophet stated that the cat is a gift from Allah and that the maltreatment of cats is a terrible sin.

How I Embraced Islam- Rick Fenton
How I Embraced Islam
Excerpt:
I knew nothing of Islam and had never known a Muslim. I decided to change that. I began studying the Quran from an English translation I found in a used book store. At the outset I was determined to make the focus of my study the flaws in the Quran. That way I could talk to a Muslim and refute Islam. I read and read and studied and studied, but could find none. Even in English, the Quran is flawless.
I began to see the truth in the words of the Quran and eventually that truth hit me right between the eyes. I no longer wanted to refute it, I wanted to read it in the original Arabic, and know more about it. I was ready for Islam. Without knowing why, I began to pray on my face for guidance from Allah. I prayed that if this was the truth, He would lead me to it. And that He did.
