     A tilt of his head and he catches his brother’s eyes in the mirror before he goes back to brushing his teeth. It was rare they spent their morning routine together, let alone saw one another before school  ━ Ritsu awake the earliest for counsel, then Keitaro for morning stretches with the team, and lastly Shigeo for regular classes. Today however, there was no meeting and he could practice with the others for once ; as well as crowd into the bathroom to get ready together.

     Spit, rinse, cap the toothbrush and put it away. He shifts from the sink to swap out with Keitaro and fusses with his hair briefly in the mirror over his brother’s shoulder, but there was little to be done with the mess. It was a joke, of course, about knocking the door into the wall too loudly and waking up their parents. But, he watches the younger rub the sleep from his eyes and entirely miss the drool tracks on his chin and he can’t help but smiling.

your icons are so pretty 🤧 how do you color them? i try with my photoshop and it ends up bad 😪

first of all THANK YOU SO MUCH!!    that’s really sweet n_n

and second  :  it helps to color them with a specific palette in mind!    for example ,   my ideal palette for denki is something of a “soft sunset” kinda vibe ,   so i preset the colors i work with to include a lot of peach ,   mauve ,   and pinky - orange tones ,   all relatively muted .    

also ,   the skin is generally always gonna be the main color focus of the icons ,   so you should make it a readable ,   pleasing color!    think of undertones .    i like to headcanon denki with a rosy undertone beneath tan skin ,   so instead of just coloring it in with a flat tan color ,   i make it more of the blushy - tan you see in my icons .

any other colors that appear in the icons  (  the green of his uniform ,   the purple shading of the skin  ) ,   i keep within a “warm” hue .    what doesn’t exactly mesh can also be fixed with a little selective coloring ,   or a helpful overlay layer!

Protective Sentences @qurses

     That single line hurts more than anything else. Maybe in another time, another life, they’d fill him with warmth and reassurance, or perhaps anger and indignation, but he only feels defeated and helpless. The words aren’t kind, they’re critical, cutting ; his brother knows just what to say to make him flinch. In moments like these he’s grateful for small blessings — had Keitaro not been so thorough in his attempts to cut him out of his life, it’d be like having his own thoughts echoed back from a mirror.

     Nevertheless, he’s the elder brother, so he pushes himself to his feet. He wants to be strong, to be someone worth looking up to, but he can’t even bring himself to raise his eyes from the ground. He’s ashamed.

     They move in unison, yet disjointed.

     Ritsu knocks his forehead against Keitaro’s at the sudden lurch and lets out a grunt of pain, hand flying up to his face to assuage the throbbing. He hears Shigeo make a concerned noise over his right shoulder and Keitaro mutter something under his breath to his left, and Ritsu suddenly feels far too crowded. He can’t bring himself to tell either of them off.

     Keitaro shifts his grip again, picking him up successfully this time, and Ritsu sighs with relief━ up until he notices the distinct absence of contact and flails instinctively, nearly hitting his twin yet again in his panic. The hands pressed against his back and underneath his knees return and he calms down again. 

     ❝ ━ Only one of you need to do it. ❞ A bit of exasperation creeps into his tone, an octave higher than usual in his embarrassment. ❝ It’s only a sprain, nii-san. If Keitaro is carrying me, you don’t need to use your powers. I’m fine. ❞ He twists to look over his shoulder, noting the tightening at the corner of Shigeo’s eyes that indicate his worry.

            “But .... Ritsu, you’re heavy.”

     Ritsu covers his face as he turns back around.

Himawari actually has two partner Pokemon.  One of them is her seeing eye guide Pokemon, her Alolan Ninetails.  The Pokemon’s name is Hime!  Hime is very protective of Himawari, and half the time is apprehensive of the scenarios Himawari gets herself caught in.  In Hima’s skull verse, it takes the fox a long, long time to warm up to Guzma and the grunts.

Her other partner Pokemon is the very first Sunflora she ever caught, his name is Natsuo!  Natsuo is Himawari’s bestest friend, and mimics her all the time.  He is also very protective of her, but has a shorter temper than Hime and is prone to lashing out if Himawari is in danger.
