The inherent, long-established features of the genre are all present, however they are shaped and changed according to requirements that hint at a more overt naturalism. Evil, for example, is a drive to which even those who seem the good ones sometimes succumb. I really appreciated both Murphy's and McGavin's performances, so different one each other but efficient.
