That is roughly how I felt, as an american, watching the scene in Read Or Die where a fight in and around the Statue of Liberty culminates in someone climbing on top of the flame to attach a grapple to the antagonist's glider, causing it to swing around the statue's hand until it crashes into the torch and explodes into flames
