When deciding on an ITAD vendor, think of it as an interview. It is best to ask different ITAD companies the right questions. By asking the right questions, you will be left with a long-term partner who understands your enterprise’s needs, provides environmentally friendly, liability-free electronic recycling and asset management services.
Suppose you’re interviewing a potential ITAD vendor who promises to do things more easily, quickly or at a better price point because they’re not certified (and therefore aren’t obligated to follow certain protocols). That’s a huge Red Flag. Similarly, a vendor who says they follow the same standards as a certified company isn’t enough, either. The only way to follow the standard is to become certified.
