the saddest truth is that scott/posey stans just can't stand stiles being shipped with anyone else other than the true fart. they hate sterek because is eternal and because everyone - even jeff davis himself - says that dylan and hoechlin have 'undeniable chemistry'. sterek and stydia are the most baited pairings of teen wolf for very obvious reasons :) scott/posey stans also hate hobrien because, unlike o'brosey, is real af. stay salty, folks!

Well, anything that takes attention away from their fave is unacceptable ofc ;) Sad but true!

God I miss Dylan and Hoechlin on my screen. And Daniel, Crystal, Gage, Sinqua... all the bts videos of them......... *SIGH*

Them completely cutting off Stiles and Derek's interaction is a mystery. I remember an interview of Dylan's and he mentioned that he'd noticed it too and was wondering why.

Yeah it was just too obvious to not be intentional. Both Dylan and Hoechlin said they enjoyed the scenes and wanted more, and even pitched a scene to JD. So even if the Mr Reversion theory is right, I doubt it means that either of them wanted to stop all and every Sterek interaction. And yet we didn’t get more than a handful of scenes from 3A onwards.

There was no reason for TW to react so drastically if they were just doing it for funs.

If you were around for S2 and 3A you couldn’t really not notice it, unless you were in denial about Sterek as a whole.

At first they totally rode the Sterek Train, literally everyone was talking about it at Cons, Interviews and on Twitter, they wanted us to vote for Sterek and get attention with it. And then suddenly they made a 180° turn, they dropped it like a hot potato and even got really insulting towards fans, suddenly Sterek was banned at some cons, Stiles and Derek had barely any scenes anymore.

There’s just no other explanation for their sudden change in attitude. If Sterek was never even a possibility, why else would they try so hard to crush Sterek fandom and cut all ties with it?

Eaddy Mays also hinted at it at more than one con and there are other tumblr users who seem to have some sources of their own like cole.

Of course there is no official receipt for it. You’ll have to wait until a couple years after TW was canceled to maybe get some straight talk from Jeff or an actor if that is what you need to believe it.

But honestly, it just makes sense.

Meh, not digging allthetrashwolfdragging. What I like about this site is it has receipts. The other blog drags actors without hard proof. The endless Sterek fiasco is getting old and tiring now.

That’s fair enough and I promise I’ll only reblog posts that are relevant for this blog. (I hope i’m over Hoech now haha, still sorry for going of topic there.)

But they do have some receipts or are talking about commonly known events like poseygate and the likes, so I’ll keep an eye on them. Also sometimes it’s just good to let your anger out and get away from all the Yes Men in fandom, so I thought some followers might appreciate it ;) Since we do sometimes talk about other things than Scott/Posey here, which would better fit on ATTWD

And yeah, I get the that Sterek can get tiring, especially cause it’s long dead in canon. But I also get the people who just finally want some names and truth spilled.

Some think it was TH, some think it was DOB, and some of us aren't sure who to think it was. The info is too vague to really pinpoint, we just know that someone involved backed out. Of course this is all just speculation, but I have read over on BHAD that a few people think it's possible it was TH, but not (1/?)

well like I said, it was just a speculation. And like you said, we don’t know who did reverse their decision so it is a possibility.

Someone said they thought it was possible that, after sterek was green lit and kept getting pushed back and pushed back, some people were beginning to wonder if it would ever happen, and TH was ready to leave the show by that point and didn't want to wait until tptb finally decided to make the ship canon. That lead to him backing out because he wanted to leave the show, and that ended any chance of sterek becoming canon. Idk, I'm just (2/?)

I‘m hearing this theory for the first time and tbh I highly doubt it. Sterek was sunk way before Hoechlin wanted to leave the show. It was during S3 when all the shit happened, when cons forbade Sterek questions/autographs, when they stopped putting Derek and Stiles into Scenes, when TWPR started to be assholes about it, when Poseygate happened and Stiles stopped being queerbaited. The anti-Sterek movement from the show was way too intentional and harsh to be just a matter of ‘it took too long to become canon and Hoech wanted to leave before we could do it’. I’m not buying that for a second.

trying to remain a little optimistic about it and hope that whoever backed out didn't do it because "no homo." And when C made his original post about it, he didn't seem angry, so I'm keeping that in mind as well. I've seen him be critical of the things TH and DOB have said before, so I like to think I can trust his judgement on this until more info is released. if it's ever released. as it is, I don't think we'll ever find out just what happened. that’s fair enough and you can think that, I also don’t want to blame one of the actors, cause they both seem pretty open and liberal but you can’t forget that Hollywood and Managements are still pretty conservative, so I wouldn’t be surprised at all if one of them got told not to do it for career reasons and decided to listen to that.

But like you said, we’ll never know, and tbh i’m over it anyway, cause if I look at relationships portrayed on TW I wanna gag anyway.

It was just an idea that crossed my mind, nothing more.

I don't understand people who scream "pedophiles" at sterek shippers but then ship scerek like what's the difference. Stiles and Scott are the same age and therefore have the same age gap between Derek.

absolutely right. There’s no way you can justify calling one pedophile and not the other. But actually you shouldn’t call either of them pedophile cause Scott and Stiles are older than 13, so they just need to shut up..

What about Sterek?

I used to ship Sterek a lot and I still like it but I got pretty bored of it tbh? I get why people love it but I also get why people are annoyed by it’s sometimes overwhelming presence. I think it’s a shame how it all ended in the show, and I firmly believe that there was no need to wreck it in the way they did, but I’m also glad Jeff didn’t get his hands on it, cause he would’ve ruined it, like anything he touches.

So yeah, Sterek is a good ship. But I like diversity with my ships, so there are also many other gems out there that deserve just as much love!

I've seen so many Scott stans claim that Sterek shippers are misogynistic because Sterek denies/erases the existence of Malia/Jennifer/Braeden/etc which is just mindblowing tbh. But according to the same people it's perfectly fine and not misogynistic to ship Sciles/Scisaac/Sceo/Sciam/whatever else even though that would deny/erase the existence of Allison/Kira/Hayden. And I'm just like ? Talk about being hypocritical af

It’s such bullshit, because you can have Sterek fics with Allydia, Malira and what not. There’s loads of people who write femslash that doesn’t care about any male characters. I always hate this notion of fanwork creators having to fulfill some sort of diversity quota. As if you have to make at least 1 non-sterek work for every 5 sterek works. Like no. People create what they are passionate about.

And most of the time they ignore female characters because they are horribly written. And yeah that sucks and some people manage to flesh out the characters and write all kinds of femslash fics which is amazing but it’s no ones obligation to suffer through creating fanwork of something they do not care for or like. And who would benefit from that anyway? Cause if you don’t like something it’s gonna be mediocre at best.

Those stans just try to find any sort of reason so insult Sterek fans with big and scary words and it’s getting boring.
