One thing I noticed different at SDCC was that in the interviews released prior to the Con, Posey's talk about the upcoming season was all about Scott finding himself and growing and learning to be a TRUE ALPHA and a man, but at SDCC the focus of the season seemed to be Stiles and Stiles/Lydia-centric. Now I'm wondering what's actually going to happen. Are we going to see the pack searching for Stiles, or are we going to see everything happening through the lens of Scott's manpain?

The thing with TW is that they will say whatever they think will resonate with the fans. And talking about Stydia just always gives them cheers at the panels.

When it comes to Stydia I really don’t know what they will do, cause they could either say ‘well lets finally do it’ or go ‘well we don’t have to care about fans anymore anyway so lets do whatever we want/fuck them over real good’. It’s 50/50 right now on whether or not Stydia will happen. They have always baited with is before the seasons, ever since S3, so it doesn’t really mean much anymore.

And no idea how important Scott will be tbh? The Trailer didn’t seem to focus much on him now, did it? But then again there can’t be too much Stydia, cause Dylan wasn’t there to film. But they also have the Gen 2.0 they could focus on.. So I really can’t tell you. All I hope is, that he really stays single for once.

I want true dumbass scott mccall to get with coyote trash malia tate and be gone forever. they are just made for each other. and I really want stydia shippers to finally have their happy ending, one way or another.

I think we’ll have scalia but I’m doubting Stydia is really gonna happen. TW doesn’t like to make their ‘original’ fans happy. And with DOB basically absent for all of shooting I just don’t see how they’d pull anything off that’s gonna be satisfying :/

Apparently Stiles is going to have to choose between Lydia+Malia in s6. I mean, you'd think they'd be trying to make tw better but instead they add in a shitty and boring het love triangle. Like, do they not WANT more ratings and views or????

How’s Stydia VS Stalia interesting tho? Like.. it’s either gonna be Stydia cause Stalia has no chemistry, or it’s gonna be Stalia cause of Shelleys contract and cause Jeff can’t ever keep any of his promises. There won’t be anything deep.

And I mean, do you remember all the other times they said relationships between the characters would be a focus?? Cause they never actually do it for more than an ep or two..

Olicity is hetero so it's easy to make them canon unlike Sterek. Also some fans of the show actually hate Olicity because it's forced and pandering to Olicity fans. I would've been contented with Stiles and Derek bickering throughout the seasons even if they were in a relationship with other people.

Well you got a point there, but all I was saying is, that the situation was similar and could’ve easily been the same if they had decided not to do it after all.

I personally do like Olicity, but think Arrows writing isn’t exactly the best.

To be honest I think a lot of people would’ve been happy with Stiles and Derek just keeping their previous dynamic up, even if they would’ve been mad about TW leading everyone on.

But fact is that they limited their interactions to a handful of scenes that were mostly there to bait and then put both of them in awful relationships that didn’t make any sense and had no buildup whatsoever to no-homo both characters while insulting and dismissing Sterek fans. You don’t have to be a Sterek fan to see that what they did was not okay. It’s just as gross as what they do with Stydia rn, baiting and baiting and baiting with little to no payout.

And now they got what they deserved for it. Fingers crossed they fall under 0.5 Million and get canceled.

Stydia?

I’m a bit indifferent I guess. I definitely see the appeal but I don’t actively ship them. As for canon Stydia I’m pretty wary that it’s actually going to happen and if it is I’d be even more concerned about how they handle it

I think I’d just love Lydia to not have a love interest on the show.

OMG me, too! I don’t even know where that bs comes from? Like, how do they look at poseys mid-poop facial expression and go ‘he ships it’ ?? All I could see was a jealous kid who realizes that being alfalfa and feeling morally superior isn’t the key to everything.
