Shock to the System || Rabastan & Jen
Jen entered the building and was hit with the stench of dirt and smoke. She only crinkled her nose slightly. A few older men looked her way, but she just glanced away, searching for the Lestrange she was meant to be meeting. She pulled off her black coat and cradle it in her arms, using it to cover her outfit. She had taken the word proper a little too far and had dressed in something even her mother would approve of, a skirt that barely reached her knees, white tights, and a matching white blouse. Jen played with the ends of her hair, slowly walking around as she searched. She was much too short to spot Rabastan right off the bat, but eventually she found him. Jen moved towards the end of the bar, which was a bit dim. A perfect private setting.
“Hi,” She muttered, not looking straight at him. There was still a part of her angry at him for putting his hands around her neck, but she knew she’d be able to forgive him. She had forgiven Avery for burning her hand and she’d forgiven Travers for punching her in the face. If there was one positive thing Jennifer was, it was forgiving. Jen climbed up on a barstool and turned towards him. “What’s this about?” She was a tad nervous, hands trembling slightly. What was there he couldn't tell her through owl post? Wait, why was there even something to tell her? Jen was certain he hated her guts for the rude words she'd spewed about purebloods. Then her mind jumped to conclusions. She was aware that her older brother worked with the Death Eaters since he was one himself, just like Rabastan. In a whispered tone, she asked frantically, "Did something happen to my brother?!"
