@kupanaha | Saint Valentine’s | Rabbit: Serpent Mode ;;
It came to mind the minute you thought about how close Valentine’s day was, it was right around the corner and a certain man came into your thoughts immediately. Now, you weren’t known for being too bashful. Rather, you’d be the bunny that would spontaneously drop kick someone after careful thought about if what they said or did was insulting or not. So, you decided rather quickly that you wanted to do something for him. What you knew of his interests wasn’t entirely extensive, but what you did know would be enough to let you sufficiently plan out a little date with him. Or at least, you hoped so. After all, you wanted him to enjoy himself.
You gathered materials, doing some mechanical work first since it would take the longest. A few days and bandaged digits later and you had completed the first little gift for him. The next item was far easier to do and only took you a few hours to stitch. Of course, everything else had to wait till the day itself to do. Otherwise, it wouldn’t be any good. Despite your jittery, excited, self; you managed to contain your hopping to a minimum as you put it all together early in the morning and triple checked it all. You settled yourself well enough to pop the coordinates into your arm and bustle over. Though upon arrival, your sultry nature sprung up and you settled your hand at your hip with a smile on speckled flesh.
“Well hello, darling. Today’s Saint Valentine’s and I’m here to declare you my valentine~ I hope you’re ready for a day of being smothered in affection and adored. But first, I have something for you.” Your ears gave a bit of a twitch, a bag being pulled from your sylladex to hang off marred digits before you snuck a little closer. The first thing that was pulled from the bag was something you hadn’t wrapped, the long scarf coming into view as you stood up on the tips of your toes to gently drape it about his shoulders and neck. Since you took the opportunity to make it yourself, you chose to have the outer layer of material be a black and green ombre silk with the inner material being of a flannel structure for warmth, making it durable and soft. You even embroidered it with a few flourishing silver and gold music bars and notes with his name wrapped in the vines.
“For when I’m not here to be your personal heater,” you chimed, smiling before you settled back on the flats of your feet and grasped the box from the bag to place in his hands. Inside was what had taken the most time, a mechanical Fennec Fox, smaller in size to the animal itself-- It was seemingly no different in appearance beyond that. Though it certainly wasn’t just a pet to be kept either. “If you tap its head twice, it’ll project a holographic screen with an extensive library of music and various instrumental sounds. You can search by any means, artist, title, genre; and if it doesn’t have it in the database, it’ll automatically search for it. Its waterproof, has a very clean sound when playing music, and you can take it anywhere with you to listen to anything you want to.”
Grinning a bit, you pointed to the flourishing filigree on your flesh. “And the fur is kind of like my tattoos, it’ll change and do what ever you ask of it. Lengthen, shorten, alter colours. It even has a camo mode to hide if you don’t want it seen. If you ever want to use headphones, you just have to say so and it’ll automatically connect.” Really, you’d put all your best efforts into this piece and you were elated by how it turned out. Though there was certainly more in store.
