Hey uh..... I’ve been seeing this “Blake is branded in atlas and yang has to save her” headcanon going around and just to remind you...... there is a history of poc/poc coded characters being tortured and killed in media that we specifically tried to stop because it was a horrible thing that enforced racism and wanting to see Blake be subjected to racism fueled torture just so Yang can swoop in and save her and become a “faunus savior” is both horribly racist and White Savior esque.

Just because you ship a gay ship and/or are gay doesn’t mean you get a pass on your racism.

I’ve always been interested in playing up John’s more inherently bad sides more, such as his racism, but at the same time I’m like, we all come here to escape reality. I don’t need to remind everyone people are horrible
