Decidedly NOT A Walking Photo: Hi, I do see how ridiculous it is to tell you this is your last chance at something when it’s the first time I’m mentioning the something here…but really I’m mostly just sharing. This is the new CD from the Rae Gordon Band, in which I’m the keyboardist and musical director. I’m really proud of this thing because I wrote and co-wrote most of the songs, and everything is sounding so good.
Given that we’re not made of money, we had to do a Kickstarter campaign to cover our costs for recording, mastering, duplication, promotion and so much more. And I’m happy to say that we reached our goal a few days ago, but now, on the last day, we’re just trying to stretch and see if we can get a nice buffer over and above our goal. We did spend a bit more time in the studio than originally planned, and then Kickstarter takes a certain amount of fees from each successful campaign. So it’d be nice to have some extra $$$ to work with.
I don’t expect pledges to come from this post, but I would love it if you visited the Kickstarter page anyway because, well, I’m really proud of the video I produced to promote the thing. If you go there you’ll see the video at the top of the page – turn it up! (Damn, I shoulda been a movie trailer narrator…)

If you choose the option to pre-order the CD, not only will we ship your CD free as soon as we have it, but you'll get access to the digital download on the day of release!
