How does someone create and use a habit tracker or workout tracker in their bullet journal?
Well, it depends on how you want to keep track of things. Now, I know nothing about keeping a workout tracker because I am awfully lazy :D but I went through my ideas tag and found some people who already have a habit/workout tracker, so I hope they don’t mind if I use their spreads as a reference.
You can create a page at the beginning of the month where you’d simply write the dates aand then tick the box for each day you’ve worked out or did the habit. Something like this by @theredsparks, this by @studyvibes-only, or this by @successaesthetics.
If you’d like to get into more detail, you can keep track of your progress each week. You can do a box or a section in your weekly spread like this one by @amayaka. That’s what I personally like to use (just not for exercising)
Oor you could make a whole spread just about working out like @rookiestudies did here, or maybe have a weekly log like @stina-studies.
Just make it fit your needs and you should be okay :)
Hope this helps!
How does a bullet journal work? I see all these bullet journal spreads, and I'd like to start my own, but I have no idea how I'm supposed to make one.
Hi dear! I’d suggest you to maybe watch the original bullet journal video to get an idea of how the system works (or is supposed to work? :D) but don’t feel like you have to follow every step mentioned in the video.
The beauty of bullet journal is that it’s basically a planner that you customize for your needs and to your liking. To begin, you obviously need a notebook, but it can be any notebook you like or are comfortable using. Then it really depends on you - you can start with the key, or just a yearly spread, monthly spread, or simply a weekly/daily spread (I’m linking the spreads that I’ve tagged on my blog so you can get an idea of these). In the monthly/yearly spreads, you can write all of the important dates, appointments, birthdays, upcoming exams, whatever. In the daily/weekly spreads, you write the tasks you have for each day and cross them off as you complete them. You can decorate the spreads however you want, but you actually don’t have to do that at all.
I’d suggest you to go through the bullet journal tag and sort of figure out which system you like and try to copy it? After a while, you will see what works for you and maybe you will find your own system. I was very confused at the beginning of my bullet journal, but soon I found out the way of doing things :D
I’ve got also a tag with bullet journal tutorials that you can check out and that might help you (there are some of my tutorials ayy :D).
I’d like to do a guide for bullet journal beginners but that will probably be next year when I get a new journal, so that I can start all fresh and yeah :D however, I hope I clarified some things and helped you at least a tiny bit. Feel free to write me more messages in case you’re confused about something!
