☆ Of course it has to start with breakfast! Kurono and I set our alarms to get up before the two of you that way we can make you guys breakfast and get you two goodies hehe. “Finally...” you muttered to yourself before plopping down on the couch. Now able to set the baby monitor on the table next to you. 

Seeing your baby girl sleeping so peacefully on the screen made you smile. Luckily this time around didn’t seem like too much for any of you. And lately you started to feel like things were finally going back into place. 

It wasn’t easy. No one ever said that it was. But trying to juggle between nursing, bottle feedings and diaper changes along with your already four year old son. It got hard at times. However, you were sitting there in a moment of silence. Your head tipped back against the couch and you closed your eyes. Figuring that Akihito was in his room playing with a menagerie of toys, quietly. You were able to just sit and take a deep relaxing breath.

After a few moments, you opened your eyes as you heard movement down the hall. Curious, you sat up straight and looked over, but you didn’t see anything. Maybe Akihito was going to the bathroom. Honestly you weren’t going to think anything of it since typically Akihito didn’t get into things. He was respectful and you, for one, felt pretty proud of your son for that at such a young age. 

Though when you looked back at the baby monitor, you noticed something else entirely was happening. It made a smile appear on your face. What you saw was your son standing next to your baby girl’s bassinet. It just looked like he was peering into it and watching her. 

It warmed your heart to no end. You figured that he must have closed the door behind him, and that was what you heard down the hall. The considerations that boy had always baffled you. 

You didn’t know how long it lasted. Your eyes were glued to the monitor. Watching your two children on the screen like this. It was something you would have never thought you wanted to see until now. 

It was then that the fathers of your two children came in through the front door. You could hear them talking about something. But their words slowly halted when they saw you sitting there staring..

“Hey, is everything okay?” Tetta asked out as he came up to you. Slowly bending over to see what you were seeing. His own chest began to swell and he let out a soft noise.

When Tetta didn’t say anything after looking at what you were looking at. Shuji let out a sigh and went over to see what the fuss was all about. “God please tell me she’s breathing..” he muttered as a state of panic flooded inside him. Considering when any of you stared at the screen for this long it was to make sure the babies were still breathing. Only logical right?

But the moment Shuji’s eyes landed on the same baby monitor screen that you and Tetta were looking at. The tall man felt something hot pricking at the corner of his eye. 

“They’re bonding.” Tetta spoke softly before moving to sit next to you on the couch. His hand found its way to your thigh and rested there. 

“Yeah, it’s pretty amazing. I didn’t even tell him that she was down yet. He just went in there and started staring at Maeko..” you whispered. Still in awe of the innocence before your eyes.

“...how long has he been in there?” Shuji asked curiously. Trying to hold back the tear that threatened to roll down his cheek. 

Though before you answered him, you waved your hand at Tetta. Indicating him to scoot over a little bit. Grabbing the monitor in your hand you scooted too and sat in the middle of the couch. Allowing Shuji to sit on the other side of you. 

“I- I don’t know. I just- I looked over and he was in there.” you spoke almost absentmindedly as you stared at the screen. Your lips curled into a loving smile. 

“...damn they’re freaking adorable.” Shuji mumbled. 

“Yeah they’re pretty cute when they do this kinda stuff, huh?” Tetta asked. 

There was a moment of silence before you decided to say something. “And they wouldn’t be here without the both of you~” you cooed before turning your head to kiss Tetta’s cheek. Then turning the other direction to kiss Shuji’s cheek.

Both men smiled. Both of them now had a hand on your thighs. Their palms were warm against your skin. And all three of you sat in silence. Soon seeing Akihito reach in and kiss Maeko’s forehead. Of course, it caused her to stir and it made Akihito freeze. But for everyone’s sanity, she ended up staying asleep. 

When you thought your son was going to come out, you all watched as Akihito proved you wrong. He ended up grabbing one of the extra blankets and laying down on the ground. Right next to his sisters bassinet. You didn’t know if he ended up falling asleep but it didn’t matter.

What mattered was that you all were able to share this intimate moment. All of you, mesmerized with cheesy smiles plastered on your faces. Both men were clearly fighting back tears of happiness as they saw their little ones connecting.
