I'm reading the Rage War trilogy and in AvP: Armageddon, there's a female Yautja named Yaquita and she's a double leg amputee who uses a mechanized wheeled apparatus to get around and she's a researcher/scientist.
The humans are shown her lab and she is so happy that they like her collection of what she calls her "fascinations."
Also, she's described as being MASSIVE. Like, 9ft tall with hair tendrils that touch the floor. One of the human characters sees her and says something like "Jeez, what do they feed these things?" 🤣 I am here for giant female Yautja representation.
Anyway, I was just so surprised and delighted to see a female disabled Yautja character and I love her. (I'm not done with the book yet, so I don't know what happens to her. I hope she survives!)
