It’s apparently pronounced “pep-pay”, as in, the French name. It should be spelled Pepé, really, because if (correct me if I’m wrong) a French-speaking person saw the word “pepe” without an accent aigu, they’d likely pronounce it “pep” and not “pep-pay,” so it’s kind of misleading.

Fairly depressing sounds fairly interesting :D Is it ok if I suggest something? And do you have any headcanons you would like to write out and share? ;)

Ah, the gist of the Big Depressing Story was an alternate timeline after Book Two– one where the spirits leave the physical plane, instead of the portals remaining open. Korra doesn’t undergo the same emotional growth that she would have in Books Three and Four, and she struggles with losing her role as the Bridge Between Worlds. So, her relationship dynamic with Asami turns out markedly differently… I dunno– I started brainstorming this thing right after Book Two finished; at this point, I feel like it’s not even a very relevant jumping-off point anymore.

Suggest away! I could stand to flex my writing muscles more often.

My headcanons aren’t overly exciting or unique, but here’s a handful:

- Asami and Korra share a nice-ish townhouse in Republic City. Asami ditched the Sato Palace Mansion for a number of reasons, chiefly that the place is full of sour memories. RC is their home– might as well be near the heart of it.

- Asami loves to hear Korra humming in another room of the house. It stirs up these bittersweet memories of her mother from when she was young, and it really makes her feel at home.

- Korra loves being with Asami because Asami is the one person that she can be truly human around– exposing her insecurities, her frustrations, her flaws. She loves Asami because Asami loves Korra, not just the Avatar. All in all, they’re just super supportive of each other.

- The two love to go on long roadtrips. Asami is the queen of the road; she loves driving– it’s a great way for her to blow off steam– even if it’s just a short cruise around the block. And Korra loves riding; she’ll roll down the window, let the wind whip her face, and watches the scenery go flying past. Great time for both of them.

I can only say this - after Mass Effect this is the next most heartbreaking game I’ve ever played. Especially the Left Behind. Again - good luck ;)

Thank you! There’s a massive, unfinished project of mine that I’ve been sitting on forever, but it’s fairly depressing– I don’t think it’ll ever see the light of day. At this point in time, I don’t have anything else Korrasami that I’m working on, though I’m open for suggestions or requests!

Yeah have the DLC. I’m playing remastered on PS4
