Hour 2 Challenge

Classic Words of Wisdom. For me, it's "so it goes." This was the first thing I tattooed on my body and it is very special to me. It comes from one of the greatest authors of all time, Kurt Vonnegut. The premise is simple. Humans are the only species who believe that we control our destiny, that time is linear, that tragedies are preventable. Whenever someone passes away, it is because they were meant to die in that way at that time from the moment they were born. It was not preventable, and they had a great amount of time in their life. When someone passes, you just say "so it goes" and move on, because that is just how life is.

YEAH!!! Legend of Korra Avatar State = my motivation! Especially that soundtrack. Oh my gosh. This video I feel summarizes our experience of being awake and reading for 24 hours straight. We feel like we can't go on, but then once we've made it to the end of the readathon, it feels like we've entered the epicness of the Avatar State and we feel bad ass!

Another Dewey's 24 Hour Readathon Update

Finished Deathnote! 2nd book I've in this 24 hour readathon! :D Together i've read 609 pages. ... 609 pages in 22 hours! At least I think it's 21 hours...I thought it was 19 hours...if I'm correct, since I live in the east coast, the readathon started at 8am on the 18th and it's now 5am...I don't know...I give on trying to do math right now. .. The point is I've read a little over 600 pages in less than 24 hours. :D that's insane to me. I'll push to try and read/maybe finish another book before the readathon ends. I work a morning shift in a few hours so....yeah...it'll be an interesting work day... I'll be trying to finish Stormdancer by Jay Kristoff.

Dewey's 24 Hour Readathon Update

This is most likely too much info, but my ass has gotten numb from sitting at my desk for so long. I've been trying to avoid reading on my bed for fear of getting sleepy and actually falling asleep. But i need a break from sitting. I'll just make sure I don't rest my head on a pillow while reading....
