This is where Wander meets Sabre and a Blue Steve who's helping Sabre learn more about the World Beyond. Wander ends up falling in love with this blue steve (ewww gay) called Bluebell. Tho, he ends up being too scared to tell Bluebell. One day in which Bluebell and Wander are in the Rainbow King for their own and the other Steve's safety, Bluebell ends up passing away in an attack from Void and Wander ends up getting infected by the Darkness. Wander's sanity, in his grief and guilt for Bluebell's death and anger at Void for said death, starts draining rapidly. In this insanity he ends up researching any way to destroy Void, not caring about any possible consequences. This ends up leading him to the story of the hero, and drives him to want to become this hero. In this insanity driven want he ends up absorbing other steve's, which causes to become less and less himself which feeds into his insanity, aswell as the small patch of darkness feeding his drive. In the end, absorbing these steve's causes him to slowly fade out of his own conciousness, causing him to become a whole other being which eventually collapses under it's slow growing lack of steve-ness (idk the word ok...) ⭑ personality; - pre-incident; kind but reclusive. suprisingly adventurous despite that, tho. - post-incident; slow to no mental humanity & aggresive. ☆ credits: divider - @corbingraphics pfp art - @cherryxfanta (TWIN!) banner art - @keeper-of-time-rq (me lelele) ☆ tags:

Spite is one of my RQ ocs

(YAP under cut) also TW child abuse, medical inaccuracies, kidnapping, medical malpractice, nothing is in very deep detail as it's an overview, but still be warned

He is a yellow and green steve hybrid, who took on the last name of "Lime Steve" because of his coloring. (That's also because I like to imagine the color steve they are becomes their last name, I.E: Colle's full name would be Collector Red Steve).

He was created in the Yellow Kingdom, where he was immediately dragged to the king since they dontlike hybrids and hadn't seen one like him before. The lil guy panicked and accidentally mildly electrocuted one of the guards that grabbed him (the guard was FINE it didn't even burn him at all), so they deemed him a threat. The king put him into prison for a long while.

While in the dungeon/jail, he wasn't treated well. At all. He got mocked by the guards a lot and was left to rot in his cage when he wasn't being used as a punching bag.

After a while, (a few years), the Green King found out about him and convinced the Yellow King to let him take the child since he's a green hybrid. From there, the lad was taught a lot of medical things and basic knowledge of how to be alive (he was finally taught his ABCs :D). He also discovered that he had healing powers, this will cause problems later.

He stayed in that kingdom for a few more years, seeing the Green King as a parental figure and becoming very attached to the Green Kingdom since it was where he was allowed to be himself and not a prisoner.

Then, the Yellow King found out about the healing powers. Because the hybrid was a green AND yellow hybrid, he had the power to boost other's energy levels and heal faster as a result. The Yellow King knew that he could take advantage of that and demanded that Green King surrendered him to the Yellow Kingdom.

Without the consent of the Green King, the hybrid was taken back to the Yellow Kingdom by force (aka the kid got kidnapped). He was put back into the castle, but this time as a medic. He wasn't allowed much freedom, but now he was allowed to be outside his cell as long as he was in one of the medical rooms. He still wasn't treated well and was often used like a stress toy for everyone else in the castle, but he tried his best to heal whoever was sent to him.

At one point while "working" *cough cough being imprisoned* there, he was punished for lashing out against the guards ans had his left arm cut off. It was cautorized so he wouldn't die from it, but his arm from the elbow down was removed. He wasn't given any painkillers or anesthesia (sleep juice) for this and blacked out due to pain halfway through.

One day, while the guards and Yellow King were busy speaking with a visitor, he managed to escape. One guard saw him leave and tried to stop him, but he got electrocuted in the head for a solid minute straight and ended up becoming deceased.

I'm unsure why I didn't say it by now, but Spite's actual name is Espit (esp pit) Lime, he scrambled the letters to get his villain name, Spite.

So Espit panicked and ran as far as he could, which ended up with him hiding in the woods. He made a tree house to stay in, which wasn't very well made and he had to make 2 extra ones that connect to the first one so it could somewhat resemble a house, but it was his and it was safe.

He decided that he would get revenge one day, seeing as that was something he was taught was necessary against enemies in the kingdom.

SO IN SHORT:

Lil guy gets put in jail for existing. Boio gets bullied so bad that the Green King adopts him. Lil guy realizes he can heal stuff fast YIPPEE but then evil Yellow King goes "nuh uh" and yoinks him back to evil place of yellow. Little guy suffers and gets his left arm privileges removes. He escapes!!! Then builds a tree house and swears vengeance to start villain arch time!

@dracl-dragon if you wanna explain who Nivilias and Saburra are then I can yap about how he feels about them too

SANDSTONE SND CELESTE WRITING I NEVER FINISHED THAT I WAS WRITING A BIT BACK

Back on my shit

Silent as ever, Sandstone hid in the bushes. Now, Sandstone, what the hell are you doing in these bushes you may ask. Simple I’m watching- Actually, I should probably begin my recording before ranting. 

He clicked the rectangular button on the side of the recorder, a soft static sounding as the device turned on. Sandstone pulled it closer to himself as he ducked ever so slightly further down into the green brush. 

It was pointless, really. This steve- ( creature ??? ) seemed much too oblivious to ever notice what he was doing in the first place.

With a soft breath, Sandstone spoke into the recorder; making sure to be loud enough but not too loud as to notify the creature to his existence.

“ Log Set 4: Number 1; Recording begins. Today I have discovered a creature that greatly resembles a blue steve. It has the figure of a steve and all the features of a blue steve, minus the missing back wings, one pair of headwings, and halos.

Not to mention the fact that one of its arms are covered in what seems to be navy blue corruption up to right above its elbows. The corruption results in the covered hand being clawed. 

Otherwise, despite this creature having presumably lived in the wild, it’s oddly clean and happy. Much too happy.. “ 

Sandstone narrows his eyes further, adjusting his glasses. The creature was just.. Picking berries, which he added to the log. “it’s really quite odd… — “ Sandstone tilted his head, confused. “ —If this creature is reminiscent of a blue steve or being from the world beyond, it shouldn’t be eating. Blue Steve’s do not eat, that is known fact, they gain nutrients from the energy of the spirit world. “

Sandstone smirked, his slim tail flicking as his head tilted the other way. “ Of course, this is something only a select intellectual few have figured out. Other steves such as… “ Sandstone trailed off, his sight moving from the creature to the floor. His voice turned gritty and aggressive as he began to speak into the recorder once again. “ .. Such as pathetic orange steves, dumb names too. Who even decides to name a steve something like ‘Restless Orange Steve’? It’s incredibly preposterous if you ask me!-“

Sandstone paused, rubbing his hand over his eyes. “ I am getting off track.. Continue subject examination from a distance. “

“ The creature seems to have some sort of shadow in its eyes that no matter how much it has light shed onto it, the darkness will not go away.. Now, I don’t not suspect The Darkness is back. That was taken care of by the human a while ago, despite how stupid his methods may have been… He got the job done. “ 

Sandstone shook his head, scratching at the bottom of the back of his neck. “ So no, I do not believe this is The Darkness. I have had close experiences with Them such as in the Orange Village and the creature simply doesn’t have the proper properties. For example, the consistency is much too gaseous; The Darkness usually drips down and is more liquid. Another factor, if this was The Darkness, it is covering his eyes (despite the being usual), it would look far more gone and disheveled if this was that corruption.  Plus for the arm, the darkness corrupts in only black, not just dark colors. “

“ In addition, the creature seems to be comprised of either darker or grey toned blues, usually blue steves are li- “

“ Oh, hello friend!!!!!!! “ Sandstone winced as he jolted his head towards the creature. It had spotted him. “ Wow, haven’t seen anyone in awhile. You’re an orange steve right Wowzeers y’kn.. “

Sandstone stopped listening as the creature went on and on. Wow it really doesn’t stop talking, does it?

Sandstone ignored it. Sighing with agitation, he continued to speak into the recorder. “ As I was saying, the blue steve like creature seems to be comprised of majority darker and grayish toned blues. Which is unlike most blue steves, who are quite light blues. End recording. “

Sandstone clicked the off button on the recorder. The creature was still yapping HOW MUCH DOES ONE HAVE TO SAY????

“ Shut up and hold still. “ Sandstone said, clearly agitated as he stood.

The creature abruptly stopped, tilting his head. “ Sorry haha.. I can tend to rant on.. “ The creature trailed off as Sandstone walked over.

“ I told you to shut up. “ Sandstone gritted out, grabbing the creatures forearm. His stance was stiff.

The creature flinched at the aggressive grasp the orange steve took onto him. Why was the newcomer being so mean? He’d tried to be nice.. He thought he was welcoming..

“ Hold still. “ Sandstone said, once again striking fear into the heart of the creature.

Yet it stilled, and Sandstone didn’t know why it listened, he was just thankful it did.

“ Sorry.. “ Sandstone blankly said, pulling out a syringe filled with some liquid.

The creature’s eyes widened as it shrieked out a quick sentence. “ WA-WAIT WE WE CAN TALK ABOUT THI- “

It dropped to the floor as the orange steve inserted the syringe and drug. He smirked, looking proud of himself. Sandstone really was quite confused on why it didn’t fight back, but that’s asides the point.
