although  it's  been  a  while  since  she  last  saw  piper,  she  hasn't  been  with  many  after  they  went  their  own  ways.  so  it  felt  reasonable  to  think  she  may  have  left  her  bra  at  piper's  place,  considering  she  couldn't  find  it  anywhere  else  in  her  own.  it  took  some  courage  to  be  able  to  be  in  front  of  her  door  though.  she  remembers  how  the  last  time  they  talked,  she  wanted  something  more  but  got  rejected  in  the  end.  she's  been  mostly  avoiding  the  other  until  tonight.  after  a  few  knocks,  her  arms  cross  while  looking  away,  contemplating  if  this  was  a  mistake  and  if  she  should  leave.

𝐬𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠: tabitha's  apartment,  electric  avenue / @rainbowxsouls

excited  nerves  course  through  her  as  her  knuckles  rap  against  tabby's  door,  a  jar  of  mixed  candies  held  in  one  arm  and  a  bag  of  crickets  tucked  safely  in  her  tote.  it's  not  often  that  she  gets  to  be  so  unashamedly  herself,  eager  to  spend  more  time  with  tabitha  and  her  animals.  it's  been  a  long  time  since  she'd  met  someone  so  likeminded,  only  hoped  that  she  wouldn't  make  a  wrong  move  with  one  of  her  pets  and  ruin  their  friendship  before  it  even  started.  the  thought  is  cut  short  though,  tabby's  door  swinging  open  and  ofeliya  waving  immediately.  “hi  !  I  BROUGHT  GIFTS  !”  candy  jar  lifted  up,  smile  lighting  up  her  features.

inviting  daphne  and  piper  to  coastal  coffee,  she  had  a  smile  on  her  face  before  bringing  the  cup  of  coffee  to  her  lips,  lightly  taking  a  sip.  jennie  felt  like  it's  been  a  while  since  they  have  spent  any  time  together  and  inviting  them  over  did  cross  her  mind,  but  figured  doing  something  simple  and  quick  to  catch  up  on  anything  going  on  in  their  lives  was  good  for  now.  “so  how  have  you  two  been  lately?"  she  asked  first.  “did  either  of  you  go  to  that  birthday  celebration?  please  tell  me  i  didn't  miss  anything  interesting.”

if  it  weren't  for  making  plans  to  go  out  for  lunch  at  shirley's  diner  with  tabby,  jackie  would  have  been  at  home,  working.  or  she  would  have  suggested  going  to  either  of  their  place  and  working  together.  she  felt  like  she's  been  stuck  on  ideas  on  what  they  could  do  next  for  their  channel.  a  reason  why  she  chose  to  go  out  and  do  something  fun  instead.  maybe  doing  something  else  would  help  refresh  her  brain.  “how  have  you  been  lately?  sorry  we  haven't  done  anything  together  lately,  in  general  and  for  our channel.”

usually  at  this  ungodly  hour,  vada  would’ve  been  sound  asleep  after  a  night  out,  but  for  some  reason  she’s  still  wide  awake.  soon  enough,  she  ends  up  in  the  kitchen,  pulling  a  cold  can  of  beer  from  the  fridge  and  settling  on  the  kitchen  floor  under  the  dim  light,  nursing  it  in  silence.  the  house  has  been  so  quiet  that  the  sudden  sound  of  the  door  opening  nearly  makes  her  jump.  she  hadn’t  expected  her  roommate  to  be  awake  at  all,  let  alone  come  out.  "  hey,  babe,  "  she  greets  once  tabby  finally  looks  her  way,  a  faint  smile  ghosting  on  her  lips.  "  you’re  awake  early.  "

after  the  kitchen  has  been  cleaned  up  and  reorganized,  layla  hopped  onto  the  counter  before  turning  to  tabby.  wanting  to  experiment  making  chocolate,  she  contacted  the  woman  right  away  before  making  preparations.  as  a  final  result,  she  had  several  milk  chocolate  variations.  one  being  spicy  with  a  caramel  filling,  the  second  containing  pretzels  and  freeze-dried  strawberries,  and  for  a  third,  she  did  ask  tabby  beforehand  if  there  were  any  flavors  she'd  like  to  try.  even  after  making  these  though,  she  already  had  more  recipes  in  mind  but  would  wait  until  next  time.  “i  hope  it's  not  too  sweet.  unless  you're  okay  with  that,  but  i  tried  to  balance  it  out  instead.”  her  head  nodded  toward  the  plate  full  of  chocolate  before  continuing,  “i  want  you  to  have  the  first  bite,  then  tell  me  what  you  think.”

the  blonde  lounges  across  the  couch,  head  resting  on  tabby’s  lap  as  she  scrolls  through  instagram.  "  have  you  seen  salma’s  latest  story?  about  that  giant  fucking  dino?  "  she  asks,  tilting  her  phone  down  to  glance  at  her  roommate.  "  apparently,  we’re  supposed  to  find  the  culprit  or  else  they  would  spread  it  all  over  town.  what  kind  of  shithead  thinks  that's  a  threat?  "  a  frown  tugs  at  her  lips.  clearly,  whoever  is  behind  this  prank  didn't  really  think  it  through.  "  well,  be  my  fucking  guest  then.  let’s  see  how  many  of  those  big  dinos  you  can  blow  up  around  here.  who  gives  a  fuck  who  did  it,  right?  just  keep  ‘em  coming.  make  cider  point  the  new  jurassic  park  or  something,  i  don't  know.  "
