Rainforest Lumina at the Singapore Zoo.  Not actually from day six of the trip, but I forget which day it actually happened on, so I’m lumping it in with the rest of Singapore Zoo.

Anyway, this is an interesting concept that has been popping up at various attractions and historic locations throughout the world.  A company named Moment Factory (based out of Montreal I believe) takes famous sites and transforms them into interactive nighttime multimedia experiences.  I’ve been to a few of them now, and they are pretty neat.

This is, unfortunately, not the best example of their work, but for what it is, it’s fun enough.  I wouldn’t go out of my way to experience this if it’s going to require a lot of effort, but I had a free ticket and an entire evening with nothing to do, so I made the long trek from my hotel to the Singapore Zoo.  It’s definitely something that would be more fun with a group too.  The interactive elements often work better with groups.

Also, it should be noted that there are no live animals to be seen during the experience.  Ultimately, I would recommend spending your night at the Night Safari over Rainforest Lumina, but if you can fit both in, go ahead and give it a try!
