The LIs all have yandere tendencies, but general socialization means that most of them realize that to most people that such actions are actually not okay. Even if GM has actually verbalized to Zayne "I’d let you do anything." He doesn't really understand the level she means by that.
I just realized. Caleb. Caleb who knows it's a game, that he's an archetype. He would know that he could absolutely, 100% get away with basically anything he wants to do to her. Because his archetype is completely on the obsessive/controlling side and she knew and played and watched him do so much. He could do so much shit and she'd just roll with it. "it's Caleb, so it's completely normal for him to do this." She says as Caleb's actions towards and around her become increasingly unhinged.
yep! Most of them- maybe except Sylus, kind of?- know that their more obsessive tendencies are NOT okay and they try to pull back somewhat even though GM knows how fucking obsessed their actions could be from playing the game. And if GM has played a lot of otomes before, I bet they would be like 'that's like pretty tame lol'. Zayne doesn't realise that GM means that they're also okay with being like. Confined lol. So the most he goes is tracking their health data.
YEPYEPYEP! YOU GET IT ANON!!! Caleb is the only one that truly knows the extent GM would allow. He knows the character he represents, and he knows how to 'play the part'. He knows that he doesn't need to hide that part of him at all. He knows that that aspect of his is what lures people/players in. Those that are interested in him, anyway. Genuinely, he could drug their food and all GM would think is 'yeah, I should have expected this' but just like. Continues to eat his food after that incident. GM's nonchalance- maybe a little smitten-ness- towards Caleb's escalation of unhinged controlling behaviour most likely causes a cascade of the other LIs being steadily more unhinged too ngl
