You know I adore rair pairs, from a lit analysis perspective more than anything. I get so excited stumbling across a random and unique fanfic premise throwing two random characters together who've never said one word to each other, not because I respect the ship, but because I want this fic to present its case for what they see in these two, and if I'll see it, too.

I love the what-if debate so much that it actually makes writing a large cast of characters far less rigid in its romatic subplot trajectories than it probably should be. Why not throw these two/three together? I want to see what happens.

So lemme tell ya, as an author, I am *pumped* for getting my own rair pair murmuring in my future fandom. I've got an extremely short list of "ehhh to each their own but please don't ask me about X ship" ships.

Convince me. Impress me. Do your worst. I'm listening.
