HERO: Captain Australia 

Alias: Banjo Mellingong 

POWERS: Slight healing factor, above average strength, good self defence skills

COSTUME: Black shirt with green trench coat and boots. Dark green hood

BACKSTORY: An Aboriginal Australian who takes the law into his own hands after the desecration of his hometown from a large mining company. He fights for the downtrodden people, including Aboriginal peoples of Australia, LGBT people, and the poor. 

I remember loving this character when I wrote him because he felt so real. Street level hero, nothing too fancy. Isn’t incredibly powerful, only has average skill in most types of combat - wields modified cricket bats when needed.

and the main character of this whole world to me is...

HERO: Ramage (pronounced rah-MAH-jh)

Alias: Patrick Swarn, head of SwarnOps

Backstory: Having lost control of his legs and rapidly deteriorating lungs, Swarns was determined to find a fix by almost any means necessary. He looked up to the mythological creatures and stories as an inspiration for a cure. He believed if he were to obtain the power of a Minotaur’s legs, and the torso of Cthulhu he’d stand a chance of living. 

The experiment was mostly a failure, and he ended up with the legs of a minotaur, body of cthulhu, and a severely burnt black skull with yellow scarring.

HERO: Necrom

POWERS: Basic summoning and illusion abilities, possesses no magical abilities which can harm. Relies on an enchanted sword which harvests souls of the living to battle. 

WEAKNESS: Vulnerable to light

COSTUME: Wears a ninja’s hood with cybernetic scope on one eye to view unseen magical threats, objects, and to investigate crime scenes. Has a large black duster fitted with added goodies like smoke bombs and tripmines. 

BACKSTORY: An undead dark arts investigator from the 1900s who worked alongside the allied forces in World War 2 to stop Hitler from obtaining powerful mystical artefacts.

this is one of the more out there ideas I had - Xygoth’s Cathedral. A doomsday cult on Mars which worships a bunch of legendary weapons infused with the “knowledge of Xygoth”. 

Xygoth himself is worshipped by both the local Cydonians of Mars, and dark magic groups of Earth. His physical form is an 7-foot humanoid made of eyeballs and wires, with large bat wings coming out of his arms and back. 

The “legendary weapons” are themselves staves with secret inscriptions to summon Xygoth. Once you have all five, are able to translate it, and can withstand the portal between worlds opening... you can get his knowledge of the universe.

VILLAIN: Byzogulater 

POWER: See bio

COSTUME: Purple armoured torso with hole in the middle for access to his “heart”, hazmat gloves and arms, armoured legs. See-through shiny green head, with a brown and black hooded cloak.

BACKSTORY: Byzones were discovered on the planet of Kratar, found on the opposite side of the sun to Earth. The freezing planet was home to these rare mineral-like gems. Brought back to Earth and experimented on in Macquarie Island, the minerals bonded to a scientist, completely claiming its body. The vindictive lifeform aimed to try and take out the company behind the discovery of Kratar - SwarnOps. Possessing genius level intellect, bloodthirsty demands, and armed with a Byzone gun which freezes objects it took off to fulfil its mission.
