my favorite random piece of dbbq trivia that I don’t really see people ever mention is that if you turn off the background music at the start and use the bed door, you can hear ENA snoring while she’s laying down.

i think a lot of folks especially people who are newer to ENA take the allegories of the world and its characters a little too literal.
i think my biggest theory for DBBQ is that the war/soldier references aren’t actually supposed to be taken that literally and that they are instead metaphors for the “war” and “conflict” that lies inside of ENA the worker. she is constantly at odds within herself, in my opinion.
but anyway i think my point here is that ENA is a very surreal series and while i do think there’s subtext to certain things i don’t necessarily think they should always be taken so literally. is humanboard ENA’s dead child or is he simply a metaphor for innocence within chaos? let’s chew on that.
