Day one of Research

So leading up to this research experiment I was feeling pretty good. Things werent super easy off the bat for set up but I did eventually get everything together. Today was our first day of passing out surveys and well it FUCKING SUCKED. I thought the gift cards would be enough incentive but I guess not...Now to reevaluate and adapt

When your med school friends are finally back at school, but aren't available after class to hangout😭. Also going from a 5 person house to living alone again is a depressing adjustment

So the survey portion of my research is over 335 surveys returned and 225 are useable so thats something

That wasn't as bad or as labor intensive as I thought it was going to be...

this research project is sapping all the energy I have left for this block. I just want to bury my head under the covers for a day...

why are med school proms a thing... didn't you graduate highschool and college... aren't we past the dress up and get drunk phase of our lives. Also why waste the money on dumb dresses you'll never wear again

So we're halfway into block 2 and shitt got real, real fast. I changed my study method part way through and I'm currently backtracking making sure I actually learned something. The word behind does not describe and I have hella people visiting this month out of blue. Full panic mode has been installed. I REPEAT FULL FUCKING PANIC. I was actually hoping for a better grade this block but things got out of control way too fast and now I'm just holding on for dear life. Maybe family med is more realistic than urology...
