However, I completely forgot how stressful and crazy low level games are on League of Legends, it really is a trial by fire. My EUW buddies will not believe me when I tell them I had a game with 3 ADC's, a Yi with Smite who wasn't Jungling who built Machete with no arguments...

Thank you for picking me!  And now I have to think up ten facts.  I'll try to think up ten facts that aren't entirely dull... :)

1.  I once ate jellyfish.  I always use this as my go-to fun fact because I don't think a lot of people have eaten jellyfish.  I was at a party with my co-workers in Japan and they convinced me to try it.  It was pickled.  It was also disgusting.  The texture was exactly like a jellyfish.  I don't know what I was expecting.

2.  I feel old for Tumblr.  I'm 34.  As a 34 year old, I have too little money and not enough of my own life set up yet and I definitely feel older than the general demographic of Tumblr.

3.  I followed ramesesthesecond because I loved the url, since he is my favourite pharoah.  How could he not be?  He's the greatest pharoah.  I am delighted that we also share a love of Star Wars.  Me and ramesesthesecond, that is, not me and Rameses the Second.  I don't think he saw Star Wars.  (Maybe Stargate?)

4.  Sometimes I feel fairly sure that if I could only start the right way, I could fly.  As in, like Superman.  I've never found the right way to start, though.  You look a bit silly sort of hopping up into the air when you're out and about.

5.  I need to work on being a better writer.

6.  I get migraines.  I mention this because I am just over one.  It wasn't a particularly bad one, though it was the usual two days pain and strangeness.  Last summer I had a cluster of complex migraines and had amnesia.  I was in a friend's house for dinner and then woke up at home with no idea how I got there.  The only memory I had was of standing on a street in Dublin, not knowing where I was, how to get to the bus, or how to work my phone.  It was pretty scary.

7.  I am doing a PhD which entails studying fandom.  I love it.

8.  My favourite time of year is autumn, though unusually I am loving summer this year too.  I think it's because I'm going outside a lot more than most years, walking and a bit of running.  I actually got a tan during our epic 8 days of sunshine last week.

9.  I am a massive tennis fan.  Rafa Nadal is my favourite player, as anyone who follows my blog has probably realised.  Whenever I need to work harder, I ask myself, What Would Rafa Do?  Because he would work harder.  His work ethic is extraordinary, and I can only envy his dedication and determination because I don't think I have a hope of emulating them.  Though part of that is knowing when not to work hard.  Yesterday when I was hit with a migraine I also asked myself, WWRD?  When hit with an illness or injury, Rafa would take the appropriate rest, because that would serve him best in the long run.  That is what I did.  Back to work tomorrow.

10.  I met several of my best friends online or in fan/online friends contexts.  They'll be getting this in their inbox now.  :)
