I recently received a letter from Honorable PM Shri Narendra Modi Ji, and I believe many of you may have received it too. The letter highlighted India's progress towards becoming Viksit Bharat (Developed India). It referenced Deepavali and the newly constructed Ram Temple, symbolizing national rejuvenation rooted in civilizational pride. Lord Ram was portrayed as a moral compass, inspiring decisive action against injustice while blending spirituality with governance. The mention of "Operation Sindoor" showcased a resolve to rectify injustices and safeguard national interests. The emphasis on districts being "free from Naxalism and Maoist terrorism" depicted a shift towards eradicating internal insurgencies. Illuminating lamps in troubled regions symbolized extending governance and development to neglected areas. The letter also highlighted reduced GST rates as a festive "Bachat Utsav," framing tax adjustments to enhance citizens' savings. It emphasized that reforms now directly impact household finances, making them more tangible. Despite challenges, India was portrayed as stable and compassionate, blending economic strength with humanitarian values. The vision of India becoming the world's third-largest economy reinforced a forward-thinking national identity. Responsibilities outlined in the letter, such as supporting indigenous products and promoting cleanliness, health, and yoga, shifted focus to individual citizens. This fusion of traditional values with modern lifestyle practices exemplified the essence of "New India." The concept of "Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat" and the emphasis on respecting all languages highlighted unity in diversity, promoting an integrative form of nationalism. The metaphor of a lamp lighting another symbolized progress as a collaborative effort.
