Nothing stresses me out more on Tik Tok then when someone posts a video of a cat that appeared by the house and all the comments say to feed it and/or adopt it.
LIKE WHAT
I understand that many people are against outdoor cats but cats outside are not always abandoned or strays. And for the love of god, cats can lose collars so easily - so you just rely on microchips.
Feeding a cat just brings it back to your own home which is a selfish move if it’s owned by someone else alongside the fact that you do not know the cats diet - changing food brands for a cat can be really damaging to their health.
also that cat most likely belongs to someone. Despite your judgement :)
So please, unless a cat looks malnourished, hurt, or you’ve tried for a long time finding the owner (checking for a microchip, putting up posters, making a post online) leave the thing alone for the most part.
