Things

At midnight on Saturday I was in Walmart buying a manual pump. It did the job but it is not something I would use on he regular. Sometime this week I decided I will not be a helicopter parent. This got me thinking a lot about my parents and how I was raised and I'm pretty sure I want to model my parenting style after them. I'll probably go into detail about it someday. I drank some at the wedding and still have a damn headache. It wasn't even a lot of wine. 😭 My cousins got married on St. Patrick's Day in Ireland and this weekend was a reception with Chinese food. I like their style. Holden stayed with my SIL and I got a text last night that she missed him. I love having such a supportive and close family. It takes a village and we have a pretty awesome one. Not looking forward to adulting today. This week is going to suck.

Friday Five

The kids are back to their normal crazy. I think the fight can be attributed to being in a different environment and crazy schedule shift. They are currently playing tug-of-war in the background and being so loud I am unable to watch TV. 

I begin paying back my graduate student loans in January. I got the first bill and had a nervous breakdown. Now that I've done more research and applied for income based repayment I feel way better. 

I hate, hate, hate the cold weather. My current motto is: In for the season. Reason, freezin. 

I think that after next week's mid-season finale I am going to be jumping the Scandal bandwagon. It has gotten too crazy and unbelievable. 

Introduced my parents to Hunger Games over Thanksgiving. They both loved it and my dad is going to read the books.
