Do you appreciate my gifts, Tahm? I certainly hope so.
Has he ever considered taking on a less ugly form? I would think that it would make it easier for him to make deals…

What strange hair.
The Shadows… They’re interested by her. Strange, when she seems so impossibly ordinary.

Ionia is far behind the other nations in terms of technology, yet we seem to be doing just fine for ourselves. Why does he have such faith in his augments? They are unneeded.
…I cannot help but wonder if this so-called ‘Glorious Evolution’ may allow for non-magical people to have the same level of power. It is… Unneeded, but perhaps not unwanted.

I hate yordles. Loathe them. Vile creatures. Near-immortal, yet nobody seems to know a damned thing about them, then Kennen appears out of seemingly nowhere–
I hate yordles.
Why is it that I, with my shadows, am still unable to hide as well as that apathetic murderous tiny furball? It makes no sense!

Shiren should have stayed here. She could have flourished. It wouldn’t have been hard for her to disappear from her family, assume a new identity. She had so much potential, and yet– She threw it all away. Disgusting.
I hope she tries to visit the temple. We could talk over tea, she could attempt to explain herself. Maybe she could still be redeemed.
Hm.

She is malicious. She must be. The spirit of chaos herself couldn’t be anything but, so– Why does she insist on spending time with me, acting kindly when her true goal could not possibly be good for us…?
I wonder if she would be willing to tell me more about what life was like before she was trapped. I only know of the time in flashes of ancient memory, but the Shadows rarely elaborate on more. She was there – perhaps she would indulge me?

She wants to rule. I do not think it wise of her. I would publicly support it, I suppose, but she is all too much fire and too little diplomacy. She has the knowledge, certainly, but the balance between successfully appealing to the people while placating politicians? I do not think so.
Furthermore, it may be more work than she expects.
Oh, but then, who would do a better job? The Council is corrupt, I would misuse the station, and most other prominent Ionians are balance-adoring oafs. Why not her, really?

I should thank her for helping me stay on the right path.
What has she gone through to have become so resilient?
