"Okay, so here's the plan. Mecha will get his order, Cerami will serve him, because I'm not letting you have various autistic happy stim attacks because you're near that sack of shit, but are unable to interact with him properly."
"Di-"
"I could have absolutely said worse Mecha. Just go serve the bitch."
Cerami scuttled around, searching for a familiar scent. It was somewhat hard, with all the overwhelming scents and sensations in the crowded city, but they were determined. In their ratty old vest pocket, was a letter, decorated with bright happy smiley stickers, and crayon doodles.
They knew they were disobeying Nora, going outside where something could happen to them, and they knew that Tia was "glitching out" when she told them they hadn't received any letters. But it was still worth a shot!
Eventually, they picked up on the fragrance of a dusty wooden toy. Maple.
They bounded forward, pushing through a small crowd of people before they finally spotted who they were looking for. Tears beaded the corners of their eyes as they called out to Maple.
"Maple!"
They wrapped the puppet in a tight hug, nuzzling their cheek against the side of his face, ignoring the slight chance of splinters.
"I finally found you! How are you??? Are yo-"
Cerami paused mid sentence, noticing the silent rage in Maple's expression, as well as the gun, pointed directly at them. Cerami took a step back, realizing what was going on. They were silly and childlike. Not completely stupid.
"Oh I...Are you mad at me as well?"
Cerami asked, dejected. Cerami just stood there, not sure what to do as Maple's finger tightened on the trigger. They slowly took out the letter, now feeling like a brick as they forced a bittersweet smile onto their face.
"Oh uh-well! I just wanted to give you this! I'll-I'll leave you be! Bye bye Maple!"
They wandered away, as Maple slowly lowered the gun. He glanced at the letter given to him, decorated with smiling suns and rainbow stickers. Bored and slightly curious, he sat down on a nearby bench and opened the letter, reading through it.
Dear Maple and Suitor and Gavvy
Hiiiiiii! I know I haven't been showing up recently, but taking care of Nora is hard work sometimes! But Tia recently came to play and she said that you haven't been receiving any of my letters, so I decided to bring it to you all, and maybe we could read it together!
Nora's been getting a lot of new friends, so has Tia! There's Miss Pity, she's very pretty looking! A lot of people really like her! And there's a lot of new kid friends around. Nora says she's taking them in. I guess that means me and Tia have a lot of new playmates now! Yayyy! :D
I miss you guys, but hopefully I'll be able to convince Nora that you all can come and visit! Bye!
It all started with him and a hand willing to help. He was in an alleyway, kneeling and laughing hysterically at what he had planned, when he felt someone behind him. A girl. Someone so unbelievably boring it was almost painful.
Her smile was sweet and soft, her eyes glimmering with pity and concern. He had no idea why, but he had accepted her offer.
He was originally supposed to stay for just a day. But then he saw the schedules. Every single thing in her home had schedules, calendars, charts! She didn't even have a TV! God, she was the exact reason why he made it his life's goal to purge the world of such tiring boredom.
But, like her to him, he took pity on such a poor, stupid, drab mouse. He decided that'd he'd help her, he'd make her as exciting as he could, just like him.
So, begins our story of how the Aquamarine Librarian came to be, with the help of the Crimson Clown.

They have to bring tia somewhere
Tia opened the window, as Cerami immediately scampered out, stopping nearby so Take could climb out.
"Come! Come! Show you, show you!"
Cerami squeaked as Tia squeezed through the window, her newfound armor making it hard. Cerami beamed, scittering towards Tia, then turning around and scrambling off to wherever they were taking her. Tia followed out of her own volition.
Tia found herself in the same, dark dreary forest as the day she met that angry spider guy, as Cerami led Tia through the thick vines and roots. Suddenly, they heard rapid, slightly muffled stomps.
Tia was greeted with fuzzy yellow fur, and a very tall spider staring down at them. It was the angry spider.
Cerami squealed, before rushing forward and hugging the leg of the angry spider.
"Casper! Lookie! Lookie!"
Casper glanced down at Tia, his expression immediately... Softening.
"Oh...are you okay, child? The humans didn't hurt you, did they?"
He asked, gingerly crouching down and touching her face.
"Uhhhh..."
Tia stared at the hybrid that once looked at her with such distain, so much worry and pent up stress, now look at her as if she were just a lost child.
"You don't have to answer that. Come now, let's get you something to eat."
Casper slowly and very gently pushed her along with him, never being too rough with her, as if he were just a parent coaxing a child to do something. They reached a clearing where Tia was met with the most peculiar sight. Beds weaved with hay and twigs, toys roughly carved out of wood, leaf clothes and bandages and moss blankets and all sorts of different hybrids, working together and coexisting.
Tia stared at the calm scene, surprise etched onto her expression. Wow...
"EVERYONE!"
Casper's voice boomed through the chatter of the hybrid, a slight growl apparent as Tia jumped a bit from surprise
"This, is your new sibling. She will introduce herself to everyone, when she is ready. You all know the drill."
Casper's voice immediately got marginally softer and calmer, as if scared he spooked her. Suddenly, Tia was politely swarmed by hybrids, younger ones clinging at her legs, as the elder hybrids got her settled. How....how long had these people been here?
A Clefable hybrid approached her, holding a cane made of a large white tree branch, as the teenage hybrids led her to a free nest of straw and dead leaves. It was oddly comfortable.
"Hello dear. Do you mind if I do something quickly?"
The Clefable asked, as Tia nodded reluctantly. The Clefable's hands glowed with a faint green, before a single drop of water fell onto Tia.
Tia suddenly felt much better physically. Not so much mentally.
"There. That should heal any physical wounds you have. Cady should be coming soon. So if you see a big regal Volcarona, don't worry too much."
Tia stared flabbergasted, as a young Cleffa hybrid dragged them away. But...they kinda looked like a Phantump too...what was going on????
Sure enough, as night fell, and hybrids introduced themselves to her, the older hybrids handed out berries to the younger generation as "dinner"
"Yo."
A voice from behind her called, as an odd looking Volcarona stood behind her, holding a woven basket of Oran Berries.
"Want one raw or cooked?"
Tia blinked. She had never had a raw Oran Berry! Her mom always cooked it for her! Cherri, reading her expression chuckled.
"I'll take that as a 'cooked please'. Lightly browned? Caramelized? Scorched? Take your pick, kiddo."
"Uhm....Caramelized, please."
Tia requested, as Cady put the basket down, took a berry out, and covered it with her hands. When she opened her hands, the berry was cooked to perfection, emitting a deliciously sweet scent.
"Thank you."
Tia responded, taking the berry as Cherri sat down next her.
"Miss...not to be rude but. What's going on?"
"Oh yeah. I don't really know how to explain it, but you're in a safe place, kiddo. Humans... They don't really like us hybrids. They think we're too dangerous. So, we congregate in big ass forests like these, places a human is...less likely to go."
"How long have you been here?"
"...Some of us our entire lives."
Tia blinked, staring at her. Why did Cerami bring her here...where'd they even go anyways?
"Anygays, it's getting dark kiddo. Get some rest. We'll explain things more later. Goodnight."
Casper paced about, grumbling about his "stupid getup" He didn't really like it, but it was worth it to make Nettil happy. Even if he didn't, she'd get a good chuckle out of it.
"Goddamn these things are heavy...why couldn't she have picked a somewhat easier character to like...?"
His thoughts and mumbled rambles were interrupted Cherri practically kicked down the door, nonexistent shit eating grin ever present.
"Oh my god you're actually going through with it."
"Yes. And?"
"Nothing, nothing! You do what you wanna do, it's your wedding I mean! It's just..."
"I look incredibly stupid and will make a fool of myself? Yes. I'm aware."
Casper huffed, as Cady let out a fit of giggles.
"Do you have th-"
"I have the backup suit, no worries! I'm gonna probably use this as blackmail, but I'm not gonna let you fully make a fool out of yourself. Also the ceremony starts in like. I don't know, 10-ish minutes. Get your ass in the altar bitch."
Casper sighed, staring down at the large gauntlets. He was already. Severely regretting so much. But he was not a fucking quitter! He will do this one embarrassing thing for his future wife, and never speak of it again!
Casper carefully, very delicately spedwalked down the aisle, almost afraid if any wrinkle was made before Nettil appeared, the wedding would be doomed. Alan Jr raised an eyebrow.
"Oh un-raise that eyebrow asshat, we are all aware you'd do crazier shit for your wife. Wearing something along the lines of this is a cakewalk to you."
Casper scoffed at Alan, standing at the altar. He straightened his back, and of course waited for Nettil to show. All he had to do, was not show visible panic before the ceremony actually started! Easy enough!
After at least eight minutes, Ellie strutted down the aisle, performing the role of the flower girl with a smug, yet excited grin. She looked lovely in her dress. Casper beamed slightly with pride. Then the music picked up, reaching the swell of Lujon by Henry Mancini. Then Nettil appeared.
Casper was very fucking close to fainting. But he persisted! Nettil snickered, as she caught sight of his outfit, finding it somewhat funny that's what he chose to wear.
"Casper what are you wearing?"
Nettil asked, containing a small smirk as she reached the altar.
"I thought you'd like it."
Nettil laughed, as she watched Casper nervously fumble with the grenade shaped gauntlets.
Alan cleared his throat, directing attention to him.
"Dearly beloved. We are gathered here today to witness the matrimony of two people. Two people, that for the most part, we did not expect to actually mesh well with each other, but have found each other either way. Now, please exchange your vows."
Casper blinked, fumbling with a small stack of papers in his hand, the gauntlets making it extremely hard to hold them properly without them sliding out of his grip. After at least three times of picking the papers up, putting them back in the right order and then accidentally dropping one again, Casper sighed.
"Y'know when I first met you, I thought you were really fucking annoying and patronizing. I thought that you thought that I was incapable. But now I realize you were only trying to help in the best way you could. I know I haven't been the best boyfriend, with constantly almost getting killed and whatnot, intentionally or not. But, you've given me so much! And I wanna do the same! I wanna give the world, or as much as I can within a reasonable margin!"
Casper promised, his hands tightening only verrrrryyyyy slightly.
Nettil smiled.
"When I first met you, you were reckless, stubborn, ornery and refused to listen to any of my advice or assistance. But under that rage I saw a man with a heart of gold. A man with a sense of duty to his family, to those he cares about. A man who would sacrifice every last bit of him to ensure everyone else's safety and comfort. I also saw a vulnerable part of you, A part too afraid to fully show itself in the open, in fear of being pushed away like a tool. I saw hypocrisies and strife in you. But nonetheless, what I saw in you was a diamond in the rough, too afraid to glimmer brightly in fear of blinding someone. I want to help you shine, no matter what."
Alan smiled, nodding slightly.
"Do you, Nettil Neterreeteppup take Casper English, to have and to hold, in sickness and in health, in poverty and wealth from this day forevermore as your lawful husband?"
"I do."
"And do you, Casper English, take Nettil Neterreeteppup, to have and to hold, in sickness and in health, in poverty and wealth from this day forevermore as your lawful wife?"
"I do."
"The exchange of rings, please."
Cerami jollily hopped up to the altar, holding the pillow with the rings on top, A bright smile beaming on their face.
Casper took the silver ring with shaky hands, slowly sliding it onto Nettil's finger. The aquamarine in the center of the ring sparkled, just like the way her eyes shined with such beauty whenever she was near.
Nettil pulled Casper just a tad closer, allowing her to put on his gear pin, the first gift she had gotten for him, now polished to help and beyond, with a large diamond in the center.
"You may now kiss the bride."
"Uh-I mean-"
Casper stuttered out, before Nettil picked him up by the armpits, placing a sweet kiss on where his mouth should be (kinda hard to kiss someone with hidden mandibles lmao)
