Thank goodness for the heroes! What had started as a mass kidnapping scheme at Shigeo’s middle school had been quickly thwarted the minute help arrived. All of the villains involved were thankfully little more than average thugs, and were detained with ease. Some property damage had taken place during the chaos, however the building was still standing. Last but certainly not least was that the children were now safe and sound...
Except for one.
Shigeo had barricaded himself in the janitor’s closet, having barely escaped from the clutches of a villain with a strength Quirk earlier. He felt lightheaded, like he could pass out any minute. No doubt an unfortunate side effect of going overboard with his own Quirk. Letting out a miserable sigh, he slumped over onto the floor and rubbed his head, only now noticing that his hands were uncontrollably shaking.
Apparently, his moving was noisy enough for someone to notice he was in there...
“Just leave me alone,“ he gasped out as the door creaked open. Little did he realize that wasn’t a villain on the other side.
