Hey everyone! This is your anonymous (or not!) confession corner for all things Ranfren.
Yes, I know confession blogs are for chaos, filth, scandal! But if you’ve got thoughtful insight, niche symbolism breakdowns, or bold plot predictions, I wanna see those too.
Send in your wild takes, personal obsessions, headcanons, thirsty nonsense, or theories.
Replies are wide open below.
It’s a community-run blog: by the fandom, for the fandom, so whatever you wanna share, this space is yours.
Despite their human appearances i think the catmen might have a lot more cat tendencies. like you know how cats are wiggly when you pick them up like noodles or something??? thats how they are. like imagine Nyon laying down on the floor and Luther tries to pick him up to move him and he got really long like a cat getting picked up. Aint that cute??? And we saw Nyen flatten his ears when he was freaked out in the haunted house like a cat you know aww thats so cute 🥰🥰
I 100% love and support this theory, and I'm convinced it's canon now.
Thank you for blessing the fandom with this adorable fact. <3
I like to think that nana and kitty are bffs and hang out in the basement a lot. kitty tells her all the ivory family gossip >:3
I love this headcanon! I’m adopting it immediately.
They absolutely gossip.
And now that Nana can be in the walls... there's no stopping them from knowing everything.
I don't like Yamada, they're just a character who doesn't contribute to the plot, I can swear they don't appear in more than two panels in the lucids. I just don't like them, in my opinion they look like a person who tells people's secrets and is two-faced
Afaik, they don't appear in any lucids at all (if they do, I'll be upset, considering how much thought I devoted to this).
I'm pretty sure they’re being set up for a dramatic, early exit.
Reasons why Yamada is already dead (you can stop seething, anon, and just be happy they're gone):
First off, Yamada is introduced in a pre-lucid, and never once shows up in any of the Lucids, which I’m assuming take place after the pre-lucids. (If they’re not, I’ll be upset. Seriously, someone help me figure the timeline out.)
Next, Yamada is a walking red flag, designed to rub the reader the wrong way, due to being seemingly jealous of Randal for taking up Satoru's attention and annoyed at him for interrupting their daydreaming.
They keep sobbing after Randal tries to fix the change-of-clothes situation, which is annoying and ungrateful in my book, so it can only lead to death.
Still not convinced Yamada’s the enemy? Yamada doesn’t even reciprocate Randal’s “I’m glad we’re friends” sentiment. Instead, they declare (in thought) something’s very wrong with Randal, because he’s allegedly blind to the world when Satoru’s around. :/ Okay, sure, Yamada, whatever you say. We’re clearly setting up for them to oppose The Protagonist and thus get killed.
Unrefutable evidence: They get drawn ugly, confirming they're the bad guy and will be getting murdered.
Lastly and most hilariously, Yamada is not missed at all. They're labeled a "prominent entity," but during the dream chapters, Randal never goes, “Hey, where’s Yamada?” (Satoru, of course, would never say that. He wants Randal all to himself, so Yamada's absence is basically a plus for him. Satoru dislikes Yamada by default). Which says a lot. Yamada's definitely not in Randal's camp. Or... maybe they’re just not dead yet, but that's not my argument here.
As for how it went down…
Hoping someone’s imagination is going wild thanks to this, because I’m excited to read some theories on it!!! <3
