For long time I was thinking about Rangers AU for Undertale. Probably RengerTale or PowerTale. I'm not shure yet.

I've got for now plot plan and few concepts.

I'll show you more details soon, for now here is first concept of Undyne armour, Red Ranger od the Cristals.

Yeah, cristals will be important part. I'll write more about it in next post.

Undertale AU: RangersTale

Posting some more Info about my Undertale AU: Rangerstale, of which i made very simple designs time ago. I’ll upload the full (and hopefully better) designs later on -Once university let me breathe - but for now I’m just writing stuff down and trying to get a story together :3

Au Name: RangersTale

Settings: Surface -Human Kingdom- and Underground Kingdom.

Protagonist: Frisk, Sans, Papyrus and the main cast

Time: a mixture of Fantasy and Modernity 

Possible routes: 3 total (and multiple endings)

Dynamics:

The world is divided in 3 Main races: Humans, Monsters and Demons.

Mount Ebott it’s the highest peak of a whole Mountain Range, from which it takes the name. 

The Barrier doesn’t exist, but the Great War still occurred a thousand year ago, and monsters were banished underground anyway. 

The Underground (or Monster Kingdom) is much, MUCH larger than the original universe’s. It’s built all across the bases of the whole mountain range of Ebott and goes even deeper in the centre of the earth.

The only way to reach the surface is through secret passages and tunnels. Each passage is, however, secured by a Sentry.

The Military Branches are divided in: Royal Guards, Sentries and Rangers. 

The Royal Guards’ duty is to protect the king and his subjects; while the Sentries watch over the secret passages and tunnels to make sure no human comes through.

Rangers are the only branch of the Guards whose members can explore the outside world. Their duty is to explore in search of the Primal Demon, the ruler of said specie, and the realm in where they are hiding. 

Rangers are trained (other than combat, magic and survival skills) for being cartographers and trace the map of the world, in hope one day to explore the lands across the ocean.

All Monsters undergo a certain Rite of Passage as soon as they become of age. It tests their wisdom, strenght and courage. The Parents or Guardians of the children paint the distinctive marks around their eyes and the forehead. The paint chosen is usually related to the monster’s magic’s color.
