There was no female rapper that was signed to a label.

Cardi B is easily one of the best female rappers in the industry right now and she damn well knows it. Her come-up is respected and by no means was it easy for her to get established and it’s for that reason that why she said it’s been “kinda easier for a lot” of female artists after her to feel the shine.

Tento chalan je niekto. Rap nieje tak úplne moja cieľová kategória, úprimne. Nepoznám asi ani polovicu jeho pesničiek a preto si nedovolím tvrdiť, že poznám jeho alebo jeho hudbu. ALE, on má v sebe niečo, čo sa často nevidí, ak vôbec. The Rap Game

I don't consider the "Rap Game" to be withstanding the age in which it is becoming. I feel as if the concept of the whole rap industry has been going down hill. Before the 2000's you didnt have many people such as the new coming rappers like Future, Kendrick Lamar, etc. It seemed as if a new album had came out, it was explosive. Nowadays, it has turned into none such thing. An album 9 times out of 10 has many songs on it that either people have already heard too many times, or it has nothing lyrically flowing enough to catch a listeners attention. Among my personal view I think the only logical answer to a shake up the whole industry is the long awaited "Detox", in which is being recorded and produced by the legendary Dr. Dre. Although, I do commend certain rappers to their aknowledgement of not forming to the political want of pop culture. But in all, we need something new, amazing, and breath taking, that makes someone want to listen to every song on the album.

Knowledge vs. Talent

I think a lot of people decide to start rapping because they have a good understanding and great amount of knowledge on the rap indusrty as a whole - not neccessarily the art itself. They think that's all you need. Like Weezy, for example. Watch his interviews and you'd swear he’s a lyrical genius, but give him a mic and tell him to go off the top then see what happens. It doesn't compare.
