[REVIEW] LT - On Off ~ Mixtape Vol.2

    Good morning everyone! Today, let’s go back to Rap Store (a label previously mentioned in another review) off to freshly new adventures.

    Please welcome LT, out of TeeTime’s duo (with Blasti who has mixed and mastered this mixtape). As clear evidence when you get off your chairlift, this mixtape pulls you right through savage rides. Reminding you how pleasant it is to snowboard in the middle of fir trees. Like an OST for a GoPro’s demo, On Off rekindles interest in powder snow each time you listen to another track.

    His voice is sweet and well paced. It flows without grip on instrumentals, just as smooth as a waxed board. Talking about instrumentals, you will hear many Korean beats such as Jazzyfact, Soriheda, Jack Effect or Geeks. You should easily understand what atmosphere LT wants to set up… something good to chillax in cable cars.

    … What about some Raclette and mulled wine?

Yes. I also have a crush on jazzy sounds. It actually comes at the right time, it is Lafic’s speciality.  Those two sidekicks have quite the same style but their rap is totally different. That is why this featuring is sick! Both are bringing out each other’s flow and it fits like cheese and potatoes.

  *Should I invite you to listen carefully to track n°6? Jack Effect is on the beat, a talented buddy when it comes to “oldschooly” produce.*

[REVIEW] 명래(Myeong Rae) - [Noise] Mixtape #1st

  Hello, hello dear friends ! During those cold moments, why won’t you warm up a bit ? Today, let’s listen a new bespectacled artist : 명래(Myeong Rae)… I know you like them wearing glasses, don’t you ?

Okayyyy, out from Double Juice (duo with Jong Gu), this rapper comes right from Rap Store, a Maison that deals with talented rookies who you should listen ASAP Here.

    Noise is a particular mixtape as it is almost 100% produced by Radix (unluckily not that famous but really efficient at sampling). With his work, Myeong Rae is dragging you to the Rap’s slums. I hope you all have your headlamps and harness because we’re going down to the Underground!

You’ll raid slowly with the two first sounds, in the good way, with good instrumentals. From the third track… things are getting sharper! You’ll be propelled to Bboy Sounds. Mind your head, sweeties! It’s like listening to a blend of Diplomats and Marshalls Mathers… kind of…!

    All the way through your path, you won’t have time to get bored! Oldschool beats on your left, multiple flows on your right, you’d be plunged into pure rap music. You’ll hear some slow lyrics, slams, chiseled words, off-tempo voices, anything your underground soul needs! It’s the kind of mixtape that helps you creating your breakdance’s phases… you know, those ones that get you down on the floor… without touching the ground with your palms, even once hahaha

    To be played before entering a dance battle! Instrumentals and flow combined are a whole invitation to a huge challenge… Please, warm up a bit before a potential battle against Hong10, okay?

One of the largest songs in this playlist! Full of mischievous spirit, Myeong Rae spits his rapping and stamps it with a “Master” label. With a higher tone than his usual, he’s showing how fluent he is in rap’s variations. Best before cold!
