#Repost @crystal_haggard ・・・ If I had to give summer of 2017 a name, I’d probably call it “Adult Summer Camp”. This past weekend was the perfect bookend. I helped lead 100 riders on an overnight camping adventure from Santa Monica to Ojai and back. After traveling to Portland, Seattle and SF to lead trips in other cities, it was wonderful to host in my hometown! Thank you to @rapha_n_america and especially @tim_in_america @marshallopel and @hillsbenjamin for organizing #rapharides and the Portland Prestige and including me in all the fun. I had the best summer thanks to you! #rapharidesla

Galley #1 from the #RaphaRides LA transfer ride – I don't think we missed a single thing. From epic 24% climbs to stream crossings to pacelines through the city, we did it all. I've never camped between back to back centuries, and now that I have, I want to do it all over again. Thanks @rapha_n_america for an epic weekend on and off (but mostly on) the bike. The Portland Rapha Prestige, Grinduro and the LA Transfer ride (Oct 28th/29th): 165 miles 10k feet of elevation, 2 days from Santa Monica to Ojai and back, with a night of camping at Lake Casitas. There are still spots open and totally worth the $. I can promise a great route, incredible food and the best ride leaders 😉 The event is co-ed, but ladies I’m looking to you to make LA have the biggest women’s turnout of all the Rapha Rides!
