Nano-Mugen compilations: looking back

Hi! Today it's "Rapid Reality" by Radical Dads, American band internet can't provide decent informations on. Hold on, I'll check Last.fm... Ah, as always, you can count on Google with NOT providing you the informations you need. Jesus, the band is apparently loved by critics and listeners alike, and if you want to learn more about them, you can always check this old post about them. Are they worth it? Yeah. Yeah, they are. I have only one major complaint.

I can't hear the lyrics! They sing in English, possibly with Brooklyn accent ('cause they're from Brooklyn, it seems), but because of the sound mixing of the song - regardless of where I hear it, their site, Youtube, my copy - I can't hear what the main vocalist is singing! And she sings with a real passion, and I would LOVE to know what is she talking about! What's worse, there's no lyrics for this song on the net, and I have NO idea why! Their second album had this particular song as a titular single, and for a reason, it's a really good song that I kinda skimmed through when I first listened to the album. Well, I'm almost sure I was completely deaf back then. Now I have the chance to correct my mistakes.

Their music was described as "90's rock with a poppy punch" by one of the reviewers, and honestly, I couldn't say it any better. It's entertaining enough for a guy like me, it has great lyrics - I THINK, because the chorus sounds awesome although I can't understand it for shit - and it's a band that still produces new content. Their second album was released this year, I think. Yeah, I'm almost sure. So, they're good. Go check them out.

So that was "Rapid Reality"! Tomorrow it'll be "There's a change" by Sara Radle. Oooh, she was in The Rentals! I can't wait!
