★— HE COULDN’T HAVE BEEN MORE OUT OF PLACE IF HE TRIED. This time around it was one of those loud parties --- the ones with the neon glowing sticks waving through the air; people frantically moving in an attempt to dance, but only ending up meeting the back of the other person. The things he did to go incognito ----

teve donned a light blue shirt, that appeared rather casual considering what he would wear normally, with dark jeans. His eyes hidden by brightly coloured sunglasses which were in actual fact, Stark Tech, which was helping him see and try and locate who exactly it was he was looking for.

Gently brushing by a few sweaty teenagers he found himself at the bar, taking a breather. Why was it more stressful to navigate from point A to point B in a club than it was a battlefield.

It was then someone caught his attention, and he slid over calmly, but didn’t face him; as not to draw attention.

His lip was bloody as he leaned, out of breath, against his friend’s door, pounding on it with all his might. Open up, dammit, Grady. He glanced over his shoulder, then all about him, before going back to his furious knocking. Hurry up!!!

                                        whoa boy , today has been a day.  she’s been body slammed by doc oc , chasing goons all over the city , & she hasn’t even had time to stop for breakfast.  sometimes , being spiderman is just exhausting.   there she goes , though. thwipping through the streets , & dying of hunger .  

                                        well , maybe not dying at this exact moment , but there’s a rumble in her stomach , & she’s pretty sure everyone can hear that.  so now she looks to land , & slides down a wall.  here’s a new problem for the day :  her spider sense is half a second too late to alert her to a lip in a brick, &  our hero is sent tumbling down the alley.  if she wasn’t achey from the slam from a nefarious villain , she’s definitely going to be feeling the fall off a nefarious wall.   

                                        our hero gets up with a loud, definitely pained groan.  carefully she stretches out , wincing at a sharp pain in her ribs. slight fracture , maybe .  & now she’s noticed a civilian staring at her.  now the groan is born of humiliation.     ❝     hey man , please tell me you didn’t record that .  ‘ve got an image to uphold as . . . not a klutz.     ❞

     sophia stops walking, staring up at the man she’s come face to face with, reaching down towards the dog that’s been following her for a half a block. she was twelve when the whole world changed, but it’s not like it matters. half the world has been gone for four years, and people go on. she goes to school, her mother goes to work. she is alone, a lot of the time. in that way, the world is still the same. 

          “sorry. is he yours?” she doesn’t take her hand off of the dog all the same.
