Common paleotherian experience?

I often find myself feeling a certain type of nostalgia and longing for a time that i never knew of either while shifting (personally mental, sensory, and phantom shifting are most common). Its like im always in the wrong place, either the climate is wrong or the place and many other factors. The time, the landscape, anything and everything. But at the same time i have no idea where im supposed to be, and it always fill my raptor with a sense of dread.

I miss my raptor family, if i even had one? i dont know. This is kind of ranty/venty but i just wanted to know if other plaeotherians have felt like this?
