A Rarity from MLP kin here, I just want to say how much easier it is for me to bake now, I loved and still love baking and always did it by hoof! Now with these hands it’s a whole lot easier. I really love being able to bake by “hoof” so much now, mostly because of how easier it became! - Baker Rarity (if possible could I have #🍰💜🦄 tag? It’s fine if not)

Nitpicky gripe, but I need to get this off of my chest at once!

Yes yes, I am Rarity (that little fancy pony, you know) and so that = I'm fictionkin. But I'm also just unrelatedly a pegasuskin. Not an mlp pegasus specifically, although I think if I drew my pegasus-self it would totes be in that style, just a regular ol' pegasus here.

People keep calling my pegasus kintype a fictionkintype. That's just simply not accurate to my experiences at all. "Umm a pegasus isn't real so obviously it's a fictotype, do you think you're just a real-life pegasus?" Uh I'm walking around in real life and I'm a damn pegasus, so kinda yeah. Are you gonna call the werewolves and dragonkin fictionkin now? Lay off.

Hmm. P.S. Of course, if one such person wanted to self-identify as fictionkin, that's obviously fine and none of my business. I'm only speaking for my own experiences and preferences. Thank you.

I'm going to chime in to the selfship conversation and say, I'm a selfshipper myself and do ship with some of my kins. Though I do get uncomfortable sharing those I put on my f/o lost including my kins. But really the characters I kin I don't ship with are usually one's I like seeing selfships of. Like my most prominent kin rarity, I remember having come across someone who selfships with me/Rarity and was like "Yeah you go dear! I love you for you!" That was of course before I discovered all the kin stuff.

So really I'm pretty chill about the kintypes of mine I don't have as an F/O being selfshipped while the ones I do have as F/Os I'll keep to myself till my grave. It's weird how I work like that. - from #🍰💜🦄
