Here are my first attempts at studying forms. I picked the prettiest sketches from today. Mostly focused on heads and snouts :)

Drawing an anatomy book for work.
Look at my boy
I think that a lot of ppl believe rats have completely black eyes, including their irises- but unless they are a Pink Eyed White, or even an Albino, they usually actually have brown eyes! They also have white sclera, but you can't usually see that part~
Rats also only have 4 fingers on their front paws, which they use very dextrously for little grabbies. Where their thumbs would be, they have little fleshy, nubby pads instead. =3
it's difficult to get a good picture cuz these little guys don't often sit still. xD
It's time for nice forest walkings again 🌲🌲🌲
Hey everyone, and yes, I’ve been a bit off your radar lately.
This post is going to be informal, but… it’s something I want to share with the people who, for some reason, keep up with what I do and even enjoy it :DRecently, after a pretty long period of trying something new (drawing mice in a new fandom – which turned out to be quite the challenge for me), I suddenly realized… I’ve been moving in the completely wrong direction. I don’t like the results of my work, I don’t understand what I’m doing, and I spend way too long on every drawing. It’s like I’ve hit a solid wall, and its "finish" leaves a lot to be desired. Then, during a bout of illness, when I finally got a chance to catch up on sleep (17 hours straight – my new personal record), my brain kicked into overdrive at 150%. Memories from three to five years ago resurfaced, I might’ve even tapped into some cosmic energy… and I realized what was wrong.I. Started. In. The. Wrong. Place.Yes, this was a revelation to me. The simple idea that before drawing something new, you first need to study it. Don’t be surprised – it took me over a year to figure this out.The main point I want to get across… I’m starting over. From the VERY BEGINNING. Anatomy, perspective, light and shadow… I need to rebuild it all and apply it to our beloved mice and rats. Mostly anatomy, of course (and here, fellow artists, you might feel the pain). What I really wanted to say is: if anyone has read this far and is still interested, I’m letting you know that for a while, there won’t be any TGMD art in this blog. Instead, I’ll be posting some progress reports on my studies of mouse/rat anatomy. Maybe someone will want to dive into this with me or just follow along to see where it leads and how much my style will change in the end.The main thing, folks – please don’t unfollow! TGMD and Basigan aren’t going anywhere, they’ll just be back after a while. There will even be attempts to draw them properly with this new foundation.Anyway, sending belly button kisses to all, and see you soon! The first drop of my creative struggles is coming today! 💪😭
