Is there any chance of reconciliation between Hiro and Hiko or has that ship fully sailed?

Nori and Hito might have a chance of reconciliation if they ever crossed paths post-GUTG, when they've both had some character development and realizations about their upbringing, but it'd definitely be rocky and hesitant nevertheless. There would still be a lot of friction, between Nori's inability to let go of grudges and Hito's inability to stand up for himself, but at least they'd both be aware of those flaws and trying to fix them.

i just think there was a lot of missed opportunity irt the story and characters by choosing not to fridge (?) sonic for the zombot arc. like in sonic forces sonic was OUT of the story for 6 months and all the other characters had to fend for themselves without him but... we never got to see any of it. we never got any insight into the dynamic that created between them or how it effected them (tails notwithstanding). i just think a very interesting scenario arises when The Main Guy is not there anymore because that never happens! sonic has existed as a franchise for 30 years at this point and he's always been there. we got the chance to see what would happen if our big hero couldn't save everyone for once, and needed to be saved himself... and not only that but he would have been actively, unwillingly contributing to making everything WORSE. the infection spreads by touch after all. seeing how that impacted him once it was all over would have been such a deep character moment. but it just didn't happen. not to mention it would have been nice to put more narrative focus on shadow. by being "the guy who's immune to the plague" he would have been primed to fill the hole left by sonic's absence. getting to see how he would have acted as the defacto leader of Everyone Left could have been really interesting because imo, that's not a role he's really suited for. but what other choice does he have bro? either help everyone fix this or watch as everyone around you slowly gets turned into a monster...
