The day was still young, but Zack was up early. In fact, he hadn’t even fallen asleep yet but  was busy all night long. Not with what you might guess now, hell forbid! Perhaps he had spent too much time with his Ravenclaw best friend. Perhaps he was slowly going insane. Perhaps he had a fever. But perhaps the raven had spent the night awake reading muggle literature he had bought with muggle money in a muggle store. Instead of shrinking, his fascination with these creatures became stronger the more he learnt about them.  His room was no safe place for this kind of activity with the mermaids watching him closely and as fascinated as he usually watching Adrien. He had tried, of course, but got distracted ever so often, so that in the end he fled to the library with a lantern and spent the remainder of the night there, digging his nose into the parchment. One could say the bags under his eyes were as deep as the Great Lake, but he couldn’t help it. He needed to sponge up every bit of information and stupid muggle culture he could find inside of these books, were it even at the cost of things he had already studied for his O.W.Ls.

Muggle books felt so different than wizarding books. They even smelled different. The covers were smooth, bright, shining so that it almost hurt ones’ eyes. They looked nothing elegant and a proper wizard for sure wouldn’t dare to place them on his shelf as they looked kind of like a disgrace to what he knew as books.  Nevertheless, a shimmering green lecture now had all of his attention, and what he was reading seemed just so absured that he wasn’t able to stop. It felt a bit like magic. Zack chuckled upon the thought. The cover read “The Great Book of Love Spells” and it didn’t disappoint. Did muggles really believe that or was it comedy? It fore sure was written in a serious seeming manner. He read about enchanted ink, flower magic, hell, even milk and feet. What did feet have to do with all of this? He didn’t dare to question it. However, now after all of this there actually was a topic that caught all of his attention, made him slow down his reading speed - and the grin on his lips widened: Erotic Dreams. What would Adrien think about that? The book spoke about scents and touching yourself, about simply thinking of the partner you intend to dream about. Zack shook his head. Did all muggles really do that? Every night? Everyone? There even was mention of cubi, that muggles don’t recommend getting yourself one of those as it’s higher magic that can easily get you addicted.  Oh, if they only knew.  “So the muggles think that sleeping with a cubus increases your sex-appeal. Now I can’t help but wonder if it’s not rather them who are the strange creatures.”, he texted his best friend. “Meet me in the library, I have some interesting literature to show you.”

Uh, let me see… Still about HP, but I don’t get the whole anti-ScorRose thing. Like, in the beginning everyone liked Scorose and suddenly, many people came disliking it and ??? They’re basically name only characters, I fail to see how people can get so bothered. I understand if you’re a scorbus shipper but most of the time the people I know who is against scorose isn’t even into next gen in general??? So why disliking a thing you don’t even see? What’s so disrespectful about that? Seems random too me.

I’m not usually much interested in next gen because I don’t like the fanon portrayals, but I have nothing against the ships. And scorose is the only one hinted to be most probable to become canon. Is this just “it’s canon and I don’t like that”??? I don’t understand.

Of course that was something which could only come from one person on the whole school grounds. He didn’t even need to turn around to recognize the one who would light up anyones’ candles even if not asked to. Still, he slowly turned around, a very unimpressed look on his face.

“You could at least have tried to come up with something more..” he hesitated for a second, index finger lifted slightly into the air as if the right word he was looking for was in reach, just waiting for him to grab it, “... sophisticated.” Well, perhapts it wasn’t the expression he had been looking for after all, but it came close to it.
