Everyday I remember the time when a US president (I think Clinton??) gave ISPs a ton of money in exchange for infastructure that would provide internet to every single home in America for no more than $50/month.. And then the ISPs just.. didnt. Do it.

RIGHT? So mannnnnnnny things our taxes pay/paid for yet they get privatized and then they try to sell us on the idea that this makes it better. It’s always been a scam.
