Belonging to the so-called batang 90s (colloquial), I've witnessed a great number of cordilleran local artists (and there are still a lot these days). However, local music in the region has never reached its full potential. It is a bleak prospect for a career. Maybe because of the lack of capitalization, marketing and/or local support. Maybe it's the diversity of competition...or maybe all of the above.

Anyway, here's a cover from an impressive local singer in the dialect of the beautiful neighboring Ibaloi brothers...
