How he knows you can’t understand the language and purposefully makes commentary in it around you, smiling when you beg him to translate.

How you focus so hard on picking up certain words he repeats and use context clues to try and figure out what he’s saying, and he thinks that’s cute.

Ashveil who throws his right arm or cane in front of you as an act of protection when he thinks danger is near. You can see him shift into wolf mode, senses attentive as he tries to pick up on where the threat is coming from and fangs ready to be bared so you won’t get hurt.

Being so entranced by Caleb doing magic in front of you. He doesn’t do it all that often after losing it, but the smallest spell makes your eyes go wide. Eventually, you ask him to teach you, and he can’t resist when he sees the enthusiasm in your eyes. And you keep asking because the slightest smile crosses his face whenever you do.
