Well Gene Simmons just said rock is dead, so I guess that makes it official. LOL KIDDING. I think rock sort of died as the main voice of teenage rebellion when hip hop replaced it in the early 90s, but there's always good rock n roll in the underground/indie scene and now even pop groups are using more rock influenced sounds than traditional dance/pop boyband sounds, so who knows, maybe it will rise again.
