Ok, so why is Jun (and to a lesser degree Ves) dark skinned while the others aren't?

Because that’s how it was in canon, basically.

Juno and Vesta are also shown with darker skin than the others several times in the anime, as seen here:

It’s a little hard to tell sometimes, but it’s definitely a noticeable difference, especially when you look at where they overlap (standing in front of each other, etc).

So yeah, I’m really only going by what we know in canon here! (And besides, I haven’t really drawn full-color pictures of the Outer Asteroids yet; I’ll probably draw one or two of them with darker skin).

She totally would, though

My NOTP for them: VesVes/Mamoru (and before you ask, yes I HAVE in fact seen it in a fanfic once)

My BROTP for them: VES AND JUN (and also Ves and Chibs. The three of them are my brot3)

My OTP for them: I don’t really have any Ves ships in particular, but I have thought about Ves/Chibs before (but then again I’ve had the thought that Chibs crushes on every single one of her Senshi at least once, though whether or not it actually turns into something is another story)

My second choice pairing for them: I’ve also thought about Ves/Nanako a bit (develops very slowly, though, like enemies to friends to lovers), but I don’t consider it an actual ship of mine

My fluffy pairing for them: Ves/her dream of petting every single dog ever

My angsty pairing for them: Ves/those SPCA commercials with the sad puppies and kittens (every time one comes on, you can say goodbye to any money that’s in the vicinity ‘cause she’s gonna donate it)

My favorite poly ship for them: None, really? Again I don’t really ship Ves with anyone (and I don’t really consider the aforementioned Ves/Chibs and Ves/Nanako pairings to count in my mind)

My weirdest pairing for them: I can’t really think of any?

I like to imagine Michiru being served by this unkempt waiter wearing green overalls and uncorking the bottle of cheap wine and just when he's about to pour it in her cup she raises her hand to stop him to which he pours it anyway and that just being the last straw.

I knew it was Michiru from the vocabulary, the teal hair was just a "I fracking knew it" moment.

AH this is a lovely compliment! In that I work really hard on ‘character voice,’ so it thrills me that you could tell it was her from the get go.
